A lovely house with lot of space, great location, nice garden in front of the house

We really liked the house and surroundings. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and windy so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor facilities as much as we had expected.

Fantastic Hidden Gem

This is one of these places that I don't want to review because then everyone will know about it! Pedro's house was absolutely perfect for our trip. It is well laid out, so even though there were 8 of us, we were never on top of each other. The house is nicely updated with modern conveniences and comfortable beds and other furniture. It is also decorated beautifully. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the property and it isn't just a bunch of mass produced junk around. There are carefully curated pieces that compliment each other and it felt like any time I walked through, something new caught my eye. The yard is magnificent, drenched in sun for the whole day with a stunning salt water pool and lovely ocean breeze. There is also a small terrace out back with a grill, table and chairs for dining, and a peaceful pond. The plants around the property make for a tranquil environment, providing both privacy and ambiance. And my god, the sunsets! Incredible!Pedro and his wife are fantastic hosts, giving us a full rundown of the property, as well as recommendations for local shop and restaurants. It is in what I would call a sleepy beach town. It's not overrun with tourists, and a short walk has you right in the center. We had plans to do day trips away from the town, but we never did, instead enjoying the peacefulness of our surroundings. I truly hope to visit again one day. Thank you both for a wonderful and restful trip.

Beautiful, large, spacious villa, very well maintained with a quirky feel, set in a stunning locatio

We are two families with four grown up sons and our elderly father, in total 10 adults, ranging in age from 17 to 87. We were greeted by Luis (owner) and his son, with a very warm welcome, and a well stocked welcome pack full of local produce, which was very much appreciated. Only once did we have to contact Luis during our stay, he answered instantly and the issue was resolved within an hour. We found the villa spacious and very well equipped, with two large screen TVs, a pool table, WiFi washer and dryer etc. Some of the bedrooms were small and the a/c was not working in all rooms but the beds were very comfortable, there was constant hot water and we loved that it had a very lived in feel, and was full of interesting ornaments and books. Truly a home from home. The views from the upstairs balcony were spectacular and it was wonderful to be so close to the beaches. The pool was a nice size and there were ample and comfortable sun loungers, and eating areas front and back of the villa. The town centre was a short walk and had everything we needed to make our holiday even more enjoyable, including a fabulous bakery, supermarkets, lovely restaurants and a little square with several bars and live entertainment. To conclude I highly recommend this villa for families of all ages. Vera

This is an excellent property to holiday in. We were 3 families - 6 adults, 6 children and 3 babies - and there was more than enough room for us all! The pictures don’t do this property justice. The bedrooms were much bigger than I was expecting and the pool room is fantastic!! The pool was very clean and the outdoor dining areas were excellent. The view from the front of the property is worth going back here for alone! ANY questions we had were responded to and usually resolved within a couple of hours!! Great property, great hosts and great location for a family holiday..... I would highly recommend!!!

La casa es bonita, pero dentro hay cosas que se vienen que cambiar.

Por el precio que pague , no merecia mucho la pena. Las duchas eran casi inutilizables. Sobre todo en la segunda Planta. Es un pueblo pequeño. Se come muy bien, pero no twniamos mucho para elegir, restourantes. El servicio muy bien, aparcamientos en la casa perfectos. La picina un 7. Lo pasamos muy bien i muca tranquilidad. El agua del mar muy fria i con muchas olas. Podria dar un 7 en total para todo completo. El peopietario muy atento. Buena persona. Saltava la luz 4 veses. No se puede conectan muchas cosas ala ves. Os deaeo buena estancia si la qieres para las vaca.

A great week in a brilliant villa.

We had a really nice week in a great villa. The pictures don't do the villa justice. 6 large bedrooms one en suite. Great see views and you could hear the waves breaking. Two separate TV areas ensured that there were no arguments about what to watch. A nice pool table kept the kids ( and some adults amused). And a nice pool which was very clean albeit a little cold at times. The owner Luis was really helpful and made sure we got in ok even though our flight was delayed. And responded immediately when we were not sure go rework the oven. All in all, it is a very large villa and great value for money. It has all the facilities you could need and we hope to go back again soon.

Simply Wonderful!

A villa overlooking the ocean with all mod cons you could need. We all(12 of us) loved everything about the villa and the local town.I would recommend this villa to any large family wanting to holiday together.The local market (open everyday) sold fresh fruit, vegetables , meat and fish; all locally produced ,amazing!The people are friendly and although we spoke no Portuguese they still managed to understand us!Thank you Luis for sharing this fabulous place with us!!
