The Ostrich House! Cozy, comfortable and private.

Relax and enjoy our charming little house that was once used in our ostrich business. A big, smart TV, great Wi-fi (Starlink), a nice comfortable king size bed and plenty of peace and quiet make this a great place to stay. Come enjoy our beautiful White Mountains where there are trails to hike, great fishing, and snow skiing only 20 minutes away. We also have horse boarding available with booking if needed.

It was very clean. The place was just the right size and fit my needs perfectly. The location was central to all the activities I didI would definitely recommend this place to anyone I lost my partner of 50 years and it was a wonderful distraction from all that had been going on. Thank you

Lovely little house, perfect for a couple. Very comfortable living room for watching TV or reading; well stocked kitchen; very comfortable bed and lots of space for clothing and suitcases. Property was exceptionally clean and had lovely decorative touches. It was well situated for hiking and birding in the surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch bench and listening to the horses whinnying and bird song. We would definitely stay there again!

Fritz came and went without hardly a trace. He left everything almost totally unused and it was really easy cleaning after him. He was a really nice, polite guest.

The Ostrich House did not disappoint! The host put many thoughtful touches throughout the house to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying if you are in the Eager/Springerville area.

A perfect place to hang your hat in Eagar. Had all necessities and Shellaine also gives you some very thoughtful welcome items. Great instructions and things to do book available in the home. Home is just right for a couple. Great decor.

This was our first trip through the area. The Ostrich House was exactly as described in the listing. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The property had everything you could possibly need and a really well guide book for local attractions.

Clean and comfortable. And although it was surrounded by horse pastures and farmland and was quiet, it was also close to town and the roads that lead to outdoor rec areas. Best of both worlds for me!

Elk they have elk

It’s a wonderful little property. We really enjoyed staying here very quiet and very dark at night so that we can see all the stars not something you can do in a big city in addition to that there’s a small herd of elk that frequence this area.

Ostrich House

This was a cozy home on a quiet road. There were clear instructions given in a helpful binder. I appreciated the fact that the kitchen was stocked with spices and oil so that I could cook my meals instead of going out. Thank you very much!

Me and my bf visisted AZ for the first time to visit my mom for Mother’s Day and needed somewhere cute and clean. This property checked all the boxes. We loved the fact that the cabinets were stocked with all the essentials (coffee, oatmeal, water, snacks etc). Close enough to local shops but still feels like you’re in your own little slice of peaceful heaven. I made friends with the horses across the street too. Pictures look EXACTLY like the unit. When we visit again this is the only place we will be staying!
