Make yourself at home in this Grand Rapids retreat. This terrific room features 1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed, and a crib if needed. The room rental allows for use of the indoor swimming pool, back deck and a screened indoor patio. Located on the Maumee river with kayaking, boating, fishing, and near the Metro Parks for biking, hiking and the quaint town of Grand Rapids, for antiquing, dinner, ice cream or drinks. The room is on the east end of the house and owners live on the west end. A one of a kind property. The indoor pool is open May 9th - October 18th. Discover a secret jewel 20 minutes from Maumee, and only 1 hour south of Ann Arbor. Why go “up north” with beauty like this, so much closer! You will be amazed!

Spent a night here for my husband‘s birthday and we had the best time. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and private and the whole property was beautiful and serene. I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! From start to finish, dealing with the property owner was incredibly smooth and easy. Communication was great, and everything about the stay was exactly what we hoped for.The property itself was fantastic. We really enjoyed the spacious room, which gave us plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. The indoor pool was also a huge bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable.We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We had a great experience and can't wait to visit again!

This beautiful home sits on the banks of the Maumee River. There is a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the vista of the river with egrets, eagles, ospreys, and great herons flying over the river. Another plus for this home is that there is a indoor pool that also overlooks the river. The meticulously clean bedroom is spacious and well decorated. Marta and her husband went over the top to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. We are so fortunate that we found this VRBO close to Grand Rapids, Ohio. Grand Rapids has many shops and restaurants and we enjoyed walking along the river.

We had a lovely time here! Very peaceful and Marta was perfectly accommodating. The room was clean and spacious, pool was great, and the back deck was beautiful. We were very impressed with the flowers. We'd be happy to stay again sometime.

I enjoy hiking, biking, sailing, and boating in general. I was a school teacher and enjoy kids and families. I also love traveling and sharing and hearing other’s adventure stories. 🥰

Varför värden valde detta boende

Where I live is unique in that it isn’t in suburbia. I am surrounded more by nature than by people and “things”. It is a peaceful retreat where you can collect your thoughts. There is a lot of outdoor things to do here with being on the water and by the metro parks and the little town of Grand Rapids. It also is close enough to the city of Toledo, and even to Ann Arbor, MI for shopping and cultural experiences.
The beauty where I live is in the top 10%. With the indoor pool overlooking the Maumee river and the back patio all having southern exposure and views of the sunrise and sunsets, it is a dream location that is BEST when shared.
