All of my reviews have been 10 out of 10 so far. I would really appreciate the opportunity to understand what would have made your stay a 10 out of 10 as opposed to just eight points.

The property was very clean. My son bragged about how home-like it felt with the library and overall set-up of the space. The host was very pleasant, hospitable, and readily available for any questions. He made our stay very pleasant and I would recommend this property to anyone I know who is looking to stay near the downtown Decatur area.

I was in town with my daughter moving her into college, and needed to plan several days for shopping, moving, school orientation, etc., and Monty’s studio was perfect. It is tucked away on a very private residential street, so I felt comfortable parking my SUV full of my daughter’s belongings on the street for a couple of nights before move-in. The unit also feels very private with its own entrance and little garden sitting area. It’s very quiet and despite the summer heat, it was nice and cool inside. Monty was such a pleasure to meet and gave us excellent restaurant and coffee shop recommendations, which were very close by. Would definitely stay again on a future trip!

Our stay with Monty in Decatur was nothing short of great. Don’t hesitate to book if available. Some highlights:1. Communication before, during, and after the trip with the host was smooth and effective. No issues.2. The space was clean, cozy, and well stocked. The space matches exactly what you see online. The kitchen is much better than the average efficiency kitchen, allowing us to prep full meals while there.3. Monty has accounted for many of the details associated with a VRBO. A well stocked kitchen, bathroom items in case you forgot yours.4. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance of the location.

Monty was a great host! So helpful and accommodating. His neighborhood is charming and walkable. There's a sweet little park at the end of the street that has a path through to the next street. From there, downtown Decatur is just a few minutes away.

This place was so cute, and bigger inside than I expected. As a solo female traveler I am always looking for safe areas, and I was able to walk to and from cute downtown Decatur at night and felt perfectly safe. Monty was very kind and hospitable and very quick to respond to messages. I will definitely hope to stay here next time I'm in Atlanta.
