Well appointed, homey, clean, organized home, just as described. Hosts were very communicative and prompt. Beds were very comfortable. Our group of four adults had plenty of room to settle in for a few days. It was a great home base for our trips into the upper Peninsula but we also enjoyed our time spent around the fire pit in the evenings and the beautiful sunsets. Coffee and creamer were provided but no other food staples or spices (not an issue for us but just be aware to stock up if you plan to cook). I would stay again without hesitation.

Our stay here to connect with family was fabulous! The description is accurate, the view is awesome, and the hosts are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is very nice and clean. The layout is great, and the host was proactive and responsive. We definitely plan to stay there again!

Wonderful home on the water with beautiful views. The owners have clearly put a lot of love and care in this house as it has everything you could possible need for a week at the lake. My family loved our time there and will be back!

It’s a beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood.The view of the bay is wonderful and we enjoyed several fabulous sunsets.Our hosts had provided everything that we may have needed. My husband loved being able to ride one of the bicycles around the neighborhood. We can definitely recommend staying at this property.

The house was very clean and spacious. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The views were exceptional! My family and I enjoyed biking. And many memories were made canoeing and kayaking. We loved being by the water. Ten out of ten! We would highly recommend this property to our friends.

We really enjoyed this house, located on the end of a very quiet street. We loved being right next to the water. The house is nice and spacious. We did some cooking, the kitchen has enough cooking pots to get by but no extras. So if you plan t to do much cooking, there are no spices, oils, or anything left over from a previous stay.

We really appreciate your feedback about the kitchen supplies. We will be adding a few medium size pots. We completely understand how helpful it would be to have spices and other basic cooking items on hand. Unfortunately, due to our state of Wisconsin lodging permit, we are not allowed to leave any bulk food products, including spices or oils, in the rental for guests. We hope to host you again the next time your travels bring you to the area!

The property was on a short list for our needs. Family size. Location. Cost. For the price, the convenience, accommodations, and location couldn’t be beat. We were extremely happy with the setup and would be happy to stay again if our travels take us to beautiful Door County. Thank you Melissa and Tim

The Riley's Bay Retreat was the perfect spot for our group to experience life on the water in Door County. The back yard is set up to allow you to fish, swim, kayak, grill, or simply sit comfortably and enjoy the spectacular view. The water was crystal clear and inviting, and there was an abundance of bird life to observe and enjoy; pelicans, ducks, eagles, orioles, seagulls, redstarts, cardinals, all providing an endless show as you sit on the covered porch having your morning coffee. The location is sheltered from the worst of the weather so it is prime for kayaking and paddleboarding. The firepit is right down on the water and a great place to gather after dark to soak in the night sky. The kitchen, dining, and living areas flow easily together and are great for gathering with family and friends to chill and hangout after a long day outdoors. The road to the cottage is quiet and scenic, yet it's only a few minutes away from stores and restaurants. The neighbors all were gracious and friendly and offered helpful info about the surrounding area. The parking was more than ample for our needs and actually accommodated up to 6 vehicles and my boat!Tim and Melissa were friendly and exceptionally communicative and responded very quickly to any emails and phone calls. The property is well maintained and very clean. Really special place and we would certainly stay there again!

This property is perfect. We were 6 adults strong and had plenty of space for everyone. I have mobility issues and I found this home fit my needs: 1) only 2 steps to get in and 1 step to the back porch plus 2 mini-steps to the backyard ground. Easy peezy. 2) walk-in shower WITH a seat and bars for assistance; 3) no throw rugs to trip over! There is a slope in the middle of the backyard. Go slow. No biggie. We LOVED the pantry in the kitchen. How many times have you found little space allowed for your groceries? No issue here!Our hosts were outstanding. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms and Tim was on it immediately. Thanks, Tim!The neighborhood is beautiful and very safe. Be sure to get your groceries once you arrive. The store is a good 20 min away. And it's a beautiful drive to the store and throughout the county. The waterfront is gorgeous. Birds galore. Kyaks, a canoe, bikes and more. The kids will love it. Enjoy!

This was an amazing home for a peaceful, tranquil get away. My adult “kids” enjoyed the kayaks and the closeness of other towns while being secluded. We had enough room in the yard to play games. My son brought his volleyball net and they played for hours. We did giggle how many times the ball landed in the water. Less than a 15 minute drive into town. We will definitely be vacationing here again. Hosts are quick to respond and do a daily check in to make sure all is well and see if we need anything! Cheers!
