The cabin is beautiful with lots of entertainment options and a nice view. The cleaning was okay; there were dust bunnies, a sock, and some hairs & water marks along the floorboards but overall, the cabin was clean. The hot tub was great and the multiple bathrooms. The top floor HVAC unit was frozen when we arrived. Guest services was not easy to get ahold of but did finally put me in touch with repair tech. He was very helpful once we connected and all was taken care of the next morning. We would definitely recommend the stay here.

This home was absolutely stunning! Great for families. Owner was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Definitely would stay here again!

There was a group of 5 of us. Our ages ranged from 50 to 89. There was a lot of steps in this cabin so keep this in mind. Cabin was clean which was nice. Beds were comfortable but I would advise different mattress for the frame on the beds upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked other than needed a few more storage bowls. The drapes for the windows fell short in blocking the sun and lights out. I take it the measurements were off. There is construction going on as mentioned but keep in mind there is lots of construction workers vehicles parked on main road. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

I'm honestly appalled at your lack of effort to make sure that this house was ready for acceptable conditions before renting it out.Between the broken toilet, that could have definitely been a major injury to someone, extreme amount of mold and mildew on the outdoor carpeting areas as well as the patio sofa set near the hot tub area, and of course, the infestation of ants that have now not only bitten all of us that have gotten into our suitcases so that all of our clothing items have to be inspected before wearing them.It's actually quite disheartening than knowing all of these issues you chose to just give a 10% refund.Had to go out to Home Depot and purchase large spray container containers of ant, killer, and spray the whole perimeter of the house, especially on the side, where all of the bedrooms are.Then we had to take rubbing alcohol and lots of paper towels to use to clean inside of the house, pouring it against the floor to kill the ants and then go back and clean them all up.To be honest with you the resolution to this problem was absolutely an insult.I'm sure as owners you must have a property manager here or a cleaning crew that should've come through and made sure that the place was not only clean, but mold, free and bug free.I understand that we are in the woods because I actually own a horse ranch in the woods, but I make sure to take proper care to keep the pests outside.Your lack of effort in these areas was unacceptable.Several of us got hotels!!!

The homes here are nice and in a great location - feels secluded yet you're close to things. Home was clean-ish. Lots of dust/bits on floors, some food stains on walls that we noticed when we had ants crawling up them. Yes, we had an ant infestation that started at the front door/entryway. We contacted host company immediately. The next day ants had spread to upstairs and downstairs, so we reached out again and they finally sent pest control. Apparently it was due to heavy rains, but the response time wasn't great considering we had ants spreading through house. Then we had a fly infestation - couldn't walk 3 feet without seeing a dead/dozy fly. Never seen anything like it. No windows or doors were open so I can't explain how they got in other than that they were breeding somewhere in the house. Probably 50-75 flies in the house so there's no way they came in when we opened the door to enter/exit.Pros: Beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, hot tub clean and warm. Lots of TV's, pool table, etc., nice countertops, appliances, LOCATION! Views!!!Cons: These are built as rentals and managed by an agency. Houses show wear, and response times are longer than if this was a single rental property. Not super clean. Bedrooms were small and some didn't have a dresser, yet there was not enough floorspace to lay out a suitcase either. Awkward for a weeklong stay. One bathroom sink didn't have hot water.Overall - very high price for what you're getting, but location is good.
