Denna romantiska stuga har allt. SÄ privat, men ÀndÄ nÀra till all spÀnning i Ganges hamn. Den berömda Saltspring Weekend Market ligger 2 minuters promenad bort. Underbara konstgallerier, restauranger, affÀrer, pubar, studior ligger alla inom en vandring frÄn din privata fristad i trÀden. TillgÄng till stranden Àr direkt pÄ fastigheten.

Det finns mycket att göra hÀr för alla Äldrar. PÄ fastigheten finns det gott om att utforska, och 300 meter privat strandfront att njuta av.

En stor variation av fÄglar och andra vilda djur gör denna 4 hektar stor egendom hem. Titta pÄ svanarna, örnarna, kolibrier, vaktel och andra exotiska fÄglar frÄn stranden och expansiv veranda. Raccoons, otters, hjortar och andra critters Àr nyfikna, sÀkra och rikliga.

Utanför fastigheten, vandring, kajakpaddling, segling, golf, fina middagar, avslappnad middag, uteservering, simning, shopping, dykning, en dag pÄ spaet, fiske, yoga, jordbruksmarknader mm ... Àr alla nÀra till hands .

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was cute, and eveything we needed. Being right in town made it easy to get to all the other parts of the island.

This cottage is truly an amazing place to stay. It's small, but so cute, and the back porch was lovely to sit on at night, surrounded by trees. The fact that you are literally right in the middle of downtown Ganges, and yet still feel tucked away and private is perfect. We would 100% stay here again!

We had a great stay while I was working in Ganges for 2 months. The central location was very handy for us. Very responsive and helpful host. Will stay again if I'm in town for work again :)

Located very conveniently in Ganges about a block from the market as advertised but the beach access is right next to the busy marina and outfall so not nice for swimming or relaxing at - that was a bit disappointing. Also the cabin was cute in a rustic way but smelled really bad! There was coffee but no breakfast bars and the water had a bit of a swampy taste. The forested back porch was a nice place for morning coffee but could use a couple of comfier chairs. Overall, it was ok but I wouldn’t book here again.

Perfect cozy location

This cabin was comfortable and cozy, and accurately represented by the host and by previous reviewers. It is on a busy street, but even with road construction, it felt secluded in the trees. The back patio is perfect for hanging out on during peaceful mornings, with lovely views of the tree’s property and creek. It was a perfect home base for our week holiday on Saltspring.

Convenient Location!

Excellent communication with owner and property care-taker. Friendly and accommodating. Loved the privacy of the property given the close proximity to the action of the village.

Nice and clean just like the photos. Easy check in and convenient location to all Ganges has.

Lovely and romantic. A very nice and comfortable spot for people with pets. Beach access was as great as the huge yard to play and gaze over. A super nice comfy cabin. Small and mighty.

Great Stay on Salt Spring

Very convenient location - easy walk to everything we needed in town. Great access to large grassy area and beach. There was some traffic noise but fairly quiet in the evening. Not a lot of daylight in the house but that probably helped keeping the inside cool.

Rustic charm; excellent location!

Great location for walking in Ganges. Numerous updates in the cabin. Walk on waterfront access. Good internet with a great tv. Plenty of hot water with basic kitchen equipment. No dishwasher. Washer and drying outside under a lean to.

Little cabin in the woods

A very comfortable and cute cabin in a perfect location. Great walking access to everything, nice patch of grass for the dogs to play in every day and because it’s in the trees it stayed relatively cool during some very hot days
.although I would suggest bringing or buying a fan to use while there. The bed was comfy and it was very clean. Super quiet even though it’s close to town. Highly recommended for a couple, small family with or without pets. Our dogs loved it.

Cozy Cottage

From the charming village, great eateries, wonderful hiking vistas, and glorious sunsets, Saltspring island is a lovely spot for a little getaway. This cottage provided a central location to launch the day exploring. A well outfitted kitchen with all the amenities you need to start the day off, including a bakery across the street, and groceries nearby. For those of us GF DF, no worries. You can easily enjoy a meal in or out, as the island is very friendly to those with dietary needs. We truly enjoyed our stay in the cozy cottage.

Amazing location and a cute and quaint cottage

I came here for a girls weekend and the cottage had nearly everything we needed. The location couldn't have been more ideal and you're right by the action. We had an issue with the shower and the property manager replied back promptly. It would have been nice to have more essentials in the kitchen like sugar for tea, etc. But overall it was a wonderful rental.

Fun 4 days away from home

The place is fine for a few days holiday. Just on the edge of Ganges so easy to walk everywhere. Lovely weather so we were out most of the day. The place had everything you'd need but i would not want to have to stay inside all day. People say it’s noisy because of the road but it is set well back so is fine. The bed was very comfy though a little small if your husband is 6’3! The couch was very uncomfortable. The heating was good. Overall it was nice, particularly the area

Great island stay

The cottage is cozy with everything we needed for our week-long stay on Salt Spring Island. It's super easy to find from the main road and close to everything. We enjoyed walking through Ganges, taking in the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our home cooked breakfast on the back deck that looked towards the woods. We appreciated the onsite washer and dryer, which meant we didn't have to cart around dirty clothes.The cottage is quiet at night and bright during the day. We slept really well and enjoyed the surrounding sites: Salt Spring Island cheese, hikes up Mounts Maxwell and Erskine, Hastings House, Moby's Pub, the Treehouse Cafe and the Wild Cider House. This cottage is great for two and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while we celebrated our 10th anniversary.

Traveling is in my blood, but I love the natural wonders and serenity of the Gulf Islands of British Columbia more than anywhere else I have been privileged enough to visit.

An environmentalist at heart, I am sensitive to keeping this property chemical free and the house as healthy a living space as possible.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We fell in love with this late 19th century estate when a friend bought it many years ago. Every opportunity to visit that came up, we made it a priority to get there. When it came on the market, I just had to try for it.

This is one of those properties that changes your life in so many ways, and all of them for the better.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Once you arrive at this property, you no longer need your car. Everything you need is within close walking distance. But when you enter and close the gate behind you, you are in a private world all your own and the outside world ceases to exist. It is the very best of all worlds!
