Denna ombyggda kommersiella byggnad i hjärtat av Onekama har nyligen renoverats och har förvandlats till ett perfekt fritidshus. Ligger precis utanför M-22, kommer du att älska hur nära den åtgärd du är utan att betala en sådan premiesats.

Ursprungligen ett tandläkarkontor, detta hus totalrenoverades och har nu nya möbler, apparater och golv. Förfängelser lämnades kvar i sovrummen och gjorde sig redo på morgonen till en bris. Helt perfekt för golfare, fiskare eller familjer som letar efter sitt eget utrymme men ändå tillsammans under ett tak.

Shays Chop House och The Heathlands Golf Course ligger bara 2 minuter längs vägen. Onekama erbjuder också The Glenwood och Blue Slipper Bistro för din matglädje. Letar du efter lite kul på staden? Gå sedan vidare till Little River Casino för lite spel och levande underhållning bara fem minuter uppför vägen från M-22 och US 31. På humör för lite vinprovning? Great Place and Location

Great location in the heart of Onekama. Right near Onekama park, the coffee shop and the ice cream shop. It provided a great place to stay during our family vacation. We enjoyed the coffee that was provided and the cleanliness of the property. Thanks for a great stay!

A great location

This place was just what we needed - a place to sleep while we enjoyed the beauty of Onekama, Portage Lake and Lake Michigan! The house was as described and was centrally located. There was plenty of room for parking. Communication with the property manager was great. I would stay here again!

Fun Doctors visit!

My girlfriend and her kiddos come to Michigan and we get a local house every year. This year was great. We loved the location and the layout of this house was fun and worked well for our group!

Convenient and spacious Onekama guest house

The owners have cleverly remodeled a former doctor's office to create a comfortable and surprisingly spacious guest home in a perfect location for activities in the village of Onekama. As previous reviewers have noted, the house was well stocked and includes a washer/dryer and any dishes, towels, and kitchen supplies (including basics like salt, pepper, etc.). Customer service from the management company was excellent and the information provided beforehand was thorough.

Fun trip

The house was great, it was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was conveniently located and right across the street from the lake. The people were very friendly and the owner was very nice and helped us with getting our tv turned on and very hospitable. We had a great time

Family Wedding

The "Bunkhouse" is situated in a convenient location to the town of Onekama and surrounding tourist locations. The house is equipped with everything if you need anything the host is nearby.

I'm a wheelchair user, I had plenty of space to get around and the showers and bathrooms were all accessible. A very nice ramp to get in the house. The beds were a little high but were manageable. I did bring my own shower chair and a sliding board would have helped with my transfer onto the bed. Overall a very nice stay.

Great getaway rental

We enjoyed our stay at this property in downtown Onekama. There was plenty of space, nice bedroom layout, 3 bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room space with tv, A/C, and wifi. This is a minor detail, but I loved that every sink had liquid soap (most rentals use bar soap, not a fan). It was fun to be located right across the street from the boat launch. We were able to enjoy the Sunday donut truck and concert in the park. My teenage kids roller bladed down to the tennis courts several times and used the courts as a hockey rink. They had fun shopping at the nearby shops too. There’s plenty of parking space at the property. The bedrooms are nice and the whole place has a comfortable cottage feel. Perfect for our visit!

Vacation 2023

Everything was great! Entire process was easy! The house was clean, and we all had plenty of room. The location was all we could have asked for! Only two things that could be improved. The shower pans were very slippery, stick-ons would keep them from being a concern. Also, it would have helped to have an instruction sheet on the TV. The channels available in whichever package was subscribed to. Would definitely recommend The Bunkhouse to anyone looking for a comfortable house close to everything!

Overall pretty good

We were pleased with the layout and the amenities, but the kitchen floor was so dirty when we arrived that it turned my son's feet black. There were what looked like rust stains on a lot of the linens. Communication about what to do before departing was also unclear, because the digital guide did not match a set of instructions on the fridge, and the two resources listed different required departure times. Despite all this, the location is great, there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Onekama.

Perfect spot for 2 families

My family has been coming to Onekama since I was a child. This year my sisters family and mine opted to try a VRBO rather than the local Travelers Lodge Motel. We couldn’t be any more satisfied with this property and we will be rebooking for our yearly trip next year!!!

Right in Onekama

Perfect location although several of the local businesses still have limited hours even in the summer. Pictures online are accurate but the place has a very commercial feel- like it used to be a group home or hospice house. My one complaint is no air conditioning so no matter the temperature, the place ALWAYS felt damp.

Great place

We enjoyed staying here. It was clean and perfect size for our group. I had read they did not have dressers and that was a little difficult to not have anywhere to to put our things, but that would be the only complaint.

Clean

Very clean with great bedroom/bathroom ratio. Living room area a little small for our group. Also the bedrooms did not have closets or dressers for clothes so had to live out of suitcases all week. Great location walking distance to great park with beach/swimming/playground area and Papa Js Restaurant/ice cream. Owner/manager responded quickly to our questions.
