We loved our stay at Allison’s place! The house is updated throughout and very clean. The layout is perfect-the master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other side. The large couch in the living room with the fireplace was a great way to end the day-especially with the bottle of red wine that Allison had waiting. We have stayed in a number of VRBOs and Air B&Bs and this has become my wife’s favorite. The location to downtown OP is perfect-walking distance to great shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here the next time we’re in OP.

This house was super clean and well prepared when we arrived. There were fun games to play and lots of stuff that we were able to use with cooking!

Your host was very responsive and accommodating. The house was set up nicely in that the common areas were between the Master and the 2 other bedrooms/bath so offered some privacy. It was very clean and inviting.

Great stay on OP

We had a great stay. House is comfortable for 4 adults, even using the bunk beds. The host was awesome and so responsive and open to feedback. We would certainly stay here again.

This house was so convenient for our stay in Overland Park. The decor and furnishings are fresh and appealing as well as comfortable. Allison was very quick to respond and a thoughtful host. We would stay here again.

Easter weekend

We are very grateful to be able to stay at this home for Easter weekend. It was a great place for our family to be able to celebrate together. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking our family meal easy. We enjoyed being able to spend time here as a family!

We felt safe comfortable. They had all the necessities needed extra blankets, shower mats, cleaning supplies etc. The host gives prompt attention if needed bonus quiet neighborhood. Its only 5min away from restaurants etc which was awesome. The accuracy of this lovely home is legit from my family & I.

When we arrived, the air conditioning had been turned off and the house was 77 degrees. The home felt very hot and uncomfortable. Even after turning the air on, the temperature continued to rise rather than cool down. Because of this, one couple in our group chose to stay elsewhere overnight due to concerns about the conditions for their baby.Additionally, the backyard furniture was unusable because it was covered in bird droppings, leaves, and debris. The outdoor area did not appear to be well maintained. We also noticed that for the brief period that the baby was at the home and crawling around inside, their clothes became noticeably dirty very quickly, which raised concerns about the cleanliness. To the host’s credit, someone was eventually sent out Saturday afternoon to address the air conditioning issue. However, by that point, more than half of our stay had already passed. We also attempted to contact the host regarding a partial refund for one night, as a significant portion of our group was unable to stay at the property due to the air issues, but we did not receive a response

The step into the laundry room is not the correct height. It is too steep. This is a trip and fall hazard. Also a code violation. My brother in law fell and bruised his elbow and leg. He is 79 years old and is sore from the fall. Also the step down into the family room is also a trip and fall hazard. It’s too high. The host on this property was not too cooperative when I asked for the owners insurance company.
