Känns som du är på semester! Vackra nyare hem i hjärtat av den vita Mtns erbjuder det bästa av alla världar.

Njut av lugn och ro i en privat fjällmiljö, men med nära och enkel tillgång till alla stora attraktioner och aktiviteter denna spektakulära region serverar.

Bara åtta minuter till den charmiga centrum av Woodstock eller Lincoln (båda med alla sina butiker och matställen), med Franken hack & Kancamagus precis runt hörnet därifrån!

Också bara några sekunder till mindre kända vattenfall, vandringsleder och pittoreska platser på Pemi för bad, slangar, kajakpaddling, sola, etc.

Golf på Jack-0 i två minuter!

Naturligtvis nå alla 3 större skidorter (Loon / Cannon / Waterville) inte kunde vara lättare eftersom vi är centralt beläget strax utanför 93.

Eller stanna kvar och koppla av: familjer kommer att älska denna rymliga alternativ till kondom, med tre nivåer för att sprida ut, inkl. gå ut vardagsrummet som öppnar för privata gård.

Rena, bekväma och tyst, men ändå bekvämt till allt, "The Bear House" är ett bra alternativ till trångt lägenheter och hotell. Och utan att behöva parkera en mil från dörren !. Detta är inte en förvaltningsfastighet ... det är vår home away from home och vi använder Bear House så många helger och icke-skoltid som vi kan, så vi se till att det lika välkomnande som det kan vara.

Secluded house with nice backyard

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days in Oct 2024. The house is in a secluded spot with nice backyard and patio for kids to play. The rooms are big enough and comfortable for a group of 10 adults and 4-5 kids. I would definitely recommend this house. Suggestion: Bring in your own cleaning materials like antibacterial wipes and scrubber and soap for dishes otherwise everything else is available.

Cousins Getaway

Big yard for outdoor games. Home base for zip lining. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Great for large groups.

Spacious

The house itself is very spacious and loaded with all the essentials that we need for cooking and cleaning. However the basement is a little damp and lots of bugs on the carpet and outside on the deck. Overall I do like the house it fits my family members but if anything I rather change is the house rule of how much we have do before checking out we have to strip down all the bed sheets then bring them to the washer and cleaning out the trash n have to bring them to the dumpster up at the driveway. If this is my house I wouldn’t mind doing it however we are on vacation plus you charged us for cleaning fees if we have to already done above why we are being charged for the cleaning fees. Thanks

Annual Ladies Weekend Getaway!

The 6 of us have been together for over 35 years. We are always looking for a fun, inexpensive adventure together! This nicely renovated mountain house provided us with a chance to spend time together, sleeping comfortably in 6 different bedrooms with full baths on each floor and enjoying meals together! We were able to go out hiking, shopping and exploring the N. Woodstock/Lincoln area off season which were all in 15 minute drives! Our host, was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

Great home for larger groups

We have a men’s golf group and we need 10+ beds, which can be very difficult to find. This home had more beds than we needed, and nobody felt squeezed into their spaces. Giant open area in living room/kitchen space was great for hanging out together and watching sports or movies on a large screen tv. Speaking of tv, all streaming services were available, we just had to enter our own account info. Plenty of bathroom and shower availability, and owner provides all towels. Lots of parking on site as well. The only drawback is that is is tricky to find, as google maps was a little off in this rural area and the driveway wasn’t obvious. Owner Brad was as good or better than any rental I’ve ever had, and I’ve been arranging group rentals for years. He was very quick to answer all questions via email, within minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home for families

Family weekend stay at this fabulous home, everything was as stated and the owner provided clear instructions and flexible. The home was clean and fully stocked. Our family enjoyed the spacious living/dining area and multiple bedroom options. Evening were enjoyed at the firepit looking at the mountains. Perfect family weekend.

This was an excellent place to stay. Plenty of room. Nice view in the backyard. Private.

We had a great time. The house is close to the hwy. Very private. Nice view in the back yard. Nice deck and grill. Kitchen has everything you need. Many beds. Nice downstairs with plenty of beds. It’s perfect for a family with lots of kids. Close to Woodstock town. Very easy checking in and out. I can’t wait to stay there again.

Fantastic!

We only stayed here for two days but it was fantastic! It had linens provided which was a huge plus for us. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Magnificent views, tons of privacy

We took our large family here for a summer getaway and had an unbelievable time! The house was amazing, many rooms and space for all to spread out. It was very private and had a gorgeous yard. We enjoyed the spacious backyard and stunning views from the porch. Would definitely go back again!!

Great location with an awesome back yard!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen for our breakfasts and take-home dinners. The back yard was fabulous--private, quiet, and an awesome view of the stars each night. House was conveniently located to Franconia Notch, Rumney, and the towns of Woodstock and Lincoln. Communication with Brad was excellent. He was very flexible and super-responsive. The upstairs bedrooms are on the small side. House is awesome for a family with lots of kids or 2 families with kids. Three couples (and a couple of singles) weren't as ideal. But the location, the yard, and the ease of working with the owner more than made up for the small bedroom. We would stay at the home again!!

Beautiful house in a great location!

This house is wonderful for a family vacation. We have stayed at The Bear House twice now. We love it. Every room is spotless. It has all the comforts of home and has 3 full bathrooms! There is ample parking. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. We have made amazing memories there. There is plenty of space for the adults, teens and kids. The open floor plan is great. Give Bear House a try. You will absolutely love it. The owner is very attentive too!!

Great house for our group of 8. Very clean place and well stocked. Excellent location.

The house was well supplied with what you needed. The hill in the back yard was great for our grandchildren to slide down in. It was great to have 2 baby cribs also. The house was clean and the owner was easy to get in touch with. Very peaceful surrounding. We will book agin in the future.

Great house in great location

The house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of beds and very roomy. We had 5 women on a weekend trip to hike Lafayette. The deck and backyard were perfect for lounging and relaxing after a very difficult (but awesome) hike! We had everything we needed and the process was very easy. Brad answered all my questions promptly and we really enjoyed our girls’ weekend! Would definitely come back if in this area again.
