Very comfortable and quaint home so close to the beach and restaurants nearby. It really is 2.5 blocks from the beach. House is well stocked with essentials in the kitchen, and it feels like home. Very family friendly, too. Parking is a tad tight being a shared driveway, so plan ahead if you have an oversized vehicle. We had no problem at all with two small SUV’s. Very happy with this home for our family over a weekend

We had a wonderful two weeks at this house! Having the beach so close, 2.5 blocks, was great. We could easily go to the beach in the morning, go back to the house for lunch and give the kids a break from the sun and then return to the beach later that day. There is a book with detailed information of what you need to know.

The host, Jamie, was friendly and responsive and helpful every step of the way. That was much appreciated, especially because of a few minor hiccups with our stay that required me to reach out. Minor hiccup #1: no soap or body wash in the downstairs bathroom. (It was available but for some reason, it was in the outdoor shower instead.)Minor hiccup #2: We were running low on toilet paper—didn’t actually run out but got close enough to warrant reaching out and asking where we could find more. Not so minor hiccup #3: The keypad was VERY finicky and worked only some of the time—maybe 1 try out of every 5 or so. Each time, we did eventually get it to work, but not without some worrisome moments. Jamie said that it was scheduled to be replaced about a week after our stay. The home is comfortable and is laid out fairly well. Its location, just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk, is terrific. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s located close to the downtown shops and restaurants. A for those conveniences. Excellent, friendly, helpful communications from the host made me “round up” on my rating. My suggestion for future guests is to confirm that the keypad has, indeed, been replaced before booking. My bottom line: I would definitely stay here again, thanks to the host actually caring about the guest experience.

Wonderful cozy, comfy house. Comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen. Just right for our family trip to Belmar for Thanksgiving with friends nearby. Also, very close to the beach and would be an awesome summer stay. Owners are friendly, kind, helpful, and quick to respond. Thank you!

Amazing stay for a family with little kids. Everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen to beach and house toys for all ages of kids. Kids decorated seashells with their aunt and even left one for the next guest. Check-in was seamless. Great location, walking distance to the beach, and beach badges are included. Can't recommend enough and hoping it's available next year.

The location of the house was very good and many rooms in the house were recently renovated. However, the sheets on every bed were all stained and the towels were moldy. We went to Target and bought our own because we could not use those provided. The house has potential but just was not ready to be rented.

Thanks for the feedback — glad you enjoyed the location and noticed the recent renovations. Just to clarify: there was no mold found, and we replaced one set of sheets after your stay, which is part of our normal upkeep. We know expectations vary, and we’re always working to improve. Wishing you all the best on future stays.
