Overall nice place but there were issues

We only stayed for one night. Arriving to the property was a bit confusing because of the chiropractor office adjacent to the house. It seemed to be unoccupied, and we just assumed it to be an old business. The inside of the house was nice but the air conditioner in the kitchen left something to be desired. The only trashcan was located outside, and all the dishes were covered in a layer of dust or grime. The backyard of the house was nice if you ignore the large abandoned house directly behind the property. The beds were really comfortable though. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay. It’s a nice place if you just need a place to sleep. I probably wouldn’t recommend for anybody with kids because it felt creepy at times.

Rustic and secluded

This property definitely has a unique, vintage charm and was one of the more affordable options we found. It's a good fit for travelers looking for a rustic, off-the-grid kind of stay. That said, there are a few things to note for future guest. The house itself is rustic; some may enjoy, though in our opinion could benefit some maintenance. There were personal belongings in the laundry room and pantry, along with a washer full of wet linens that were there for our entire stay. There was an abandoned house, that you can see in the pictures behind the property, which made the area feel a little unsettling at night.The ladder to the upstairs sleeping area is steep that I would not recommend for elderly guest or anyone with mobility concerns.Overall, this spot might work for adventurous travelers on a budget who don't mind a few quirks.

Disappointing Stay – Beware Before BookingOur stay at this property was far from what we expected. There were wasp nests in the backyard dining area, making it unsafe and unusable. The listing claimed there were two bathrooms, but failed to mention that one was located outside—this would have been critical information to know before booking.Even worse, two of the three keys provided didn’t work, and we were locked out until the person with the third key arrived. That’s completely unacceptable for a group stay.The host also expected us to clean before leaving, which wouldn’t have been an issue if not for the rude cleaning lady who confronted my mother, clearly unaware of the check-out time. On top of that, none of my questions were ever answered by the host throughout the stay.This experience was frustrating, uncomfortable, and not worth the trouble. I do not recommend staying here until serious improvements are made.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There’s only one review besides mine and it is way too generous of them. Let’s start with the abandoned house on the property that is literally right in the yard. Then when we first got to the property all of the windows were open and the door was unlocked. Following inside where there’s multiple locked doors that you cannot get into that don’t help but make the whole house feel way smaller than it already is. The bathroom is a joke inside, the sewage leaks out as soon as you flush and it goes into the driveway. The whole house kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc. is FULL OF PERSONAL BELONGINGS. There’s a room connected to the house that says no access but isn’t locked and you can feel the humidity from no AC coming from it. Honestly we all felt we could be in a horror movie or murdered at this house to the point WE DIDN’T STAY! I’ve spent countless days trying to get in touch with the host and absolutely nothing back in return besides their automated messages at the beginning and end of the trip. I’ve contacted VRBO themselves and spoke to a supervisor and they can’t do anything because this place is rented out by Premier Pads. So basically I just wasted a lot of money for a house I didn’t stay at or felt comfortable in at all! DON’T GET HOUSE FISHED LIKE US AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Not the best experience

Long wait for responses to inquiries (10 hours to find out there was no hair dryer available.) Many kitchen items were dirty, so we washed all before using. Dust pan full of dirt in the kitchen. Air conditioning less than adequate. No common area except kitchen with bad air conditioning. No soap out in the bathroom-had to find it. No dishwasher detergent. Only a half roll of toilet paper - we had to buy our own. Second bathroom is a glorified outhouse - no toilet paper there, either. Only TV is in the loft. Wet towels in the washing machine. Door to regular resident's bedroom was unlocked as was the door to the outside from that bedroom-not very secure for us. Laundry/storage room full of junk and someone's clothes. Random toothbrush in the medicine cabinet and other items on bathroom shelves. No window covering in the bathroom which faces building behind the house. No hangers or places to hang clothes except some pegs on the wall in the bedroom. Drawers all full in dressers. It looked like whoever lives there when the place is not being rented left in a hurry without straightening up or locking any doors. Directions in the residence appear to be for another place. Our worst vacation rental experience to date, unfortunately.
