We enjoyed the deck and the view. We hope to return.

Great Quick Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first visit to Green Turtle Bay Resort. It won't be our last. Barefoot Cottage is a clean and comfortable unit overlooking the water and served as a base for our visit to Land Between the Lakes and the Paducah area. We will be back.

A great facility and setting

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is bright, airy, and well appointed (the wonderful cookware deserves a shout out). I would love to give a 5 though the lack of maintenance (kitchen sink leaks at base), an alarm clock which is missing an electric cord, no operable remote controls (most likely batteries) , and poor general cleaning (dust in corners and on counter, a mildewed shower curtain) earn a 4 of 5.

Reviewer Comments: This cottage is short on kitchenware but long on view!There is not a lot of clutter in this cottage, which makes it very nice for you to have plenty of space for your own personal items. The upgraded thermostat is a big improvement. The "crew" at GTB are all super friendly.

We love the serenity, the view, walking and seeing deer every time, Tiki Turtle Bingo night, fishing for bass on Kentucky Lake, dinner at Paula's, and so much more.

Bathroom could use a little refresh, wall paint above shower peeling and toilet seat discolored, but overall loved it!

Parking was the only SLIGHT issue. Apparently our little cul-de-sac was the popular place to be this weekend ;) Tiki Turtle was the place for relaxing drinks and entertainment. Can't say enough about this place.

Everything was well taken care of and clean. Our unit was nice and well stocked. Our only issue was parking. Our condo was on the 300 loop and all of our neighbors had 2 or 3 vehicles plus golf carts. We often had to park a great distance away and walk to the room. Each house should have one reserved spot. This would be our only complaint and this would make us hesitate before coming again.
