Nearby, you’ll find the post office, town office, historical society (which offers local information), the town library, the fire station, and the well-known Georgetown Pottery Store, known for its beautiful handcrafted ceramics.

Another local gem is the Five Islands Farm Store, which carries a delightful selection of fresh produce, baked goods, groceries, gifts, and seasonal plants—perfect for stocking up or finding a unique souvenir.

Just 20 minutes from the cottage, Reid State Park is a breathtaking beach known for its natural beauty and dramatic shoreline.
