Välkommen till Evergreen, din rustikt eleganta stuga vid den vackra Smith Mountain Lake! Vackert romantisk i gamla Adirondack stil, hittar du Evergreen bekvämligheter är mycket 21: a århundradet. Beläget i en vid viken i fantastiska Mountain View Shores ligger du bara några steg från vattnet, eftersom Evergreen är ett av de närmaste husen vid vattnet. Ingen vandring om du inte vill!

Evergreen har tre sovrum och tre fulla badkar, med separat sovplats utanför vardagsrummet nere. Maximal beläggning är sex, och ingen rökning tack. Husdjur efter särskild överenskommelse. Wifi tillgänglig hela!

Njut av utsikten från din privata utomhuspool, fisk från din brygga, paddla runt i kanot eller bara slappna av på veranda. Du kommer bara vara fötter från vattnet och ljudet av vågorna lappar stranden. Evergreen är helt luftkonditionerade. På vintern finns en härlig gaspanna i vardagsrummet och gasspis i källaren för att hålla alla mysiga.

Evergreen har tre sovrum och två badrum på övervåningen, tillsammans med vardagsrummet med gas spis, matsal och rymligt kök. Det stora rummet har nyligen installerat takfönster. Oljelampor hela för det varma ljuset vi älskar på lugna kvällar.

Du kommer att njuta av de bekväma, mjuka sängarna med vackra täcken och rikliga kuddar. Avsluta med en bok och lyssna på vågorna runt kusten.

För extra sovplats finns det en queen size-säng och en dubbelsäng ligger i sovrummet från vardagsrummet och ett badrum. Ett biljardbord och 55 "TV finns också nere. Evergreen har 2800 kvadratmeter under luften. Rymlig och comfy.

Du kommer att vilja göra Evergreen året runt privat reträtt.

MOUNTAIN VIEW SHORES är en härlig utveckling med många året runt hem, det har en privat båt ramp område där du kan parkera din båt trailer under hela vistelsen. Det har asfalterade vägar och centrala vattensystem. Perfekt för vandrare och joggare. Sjöplatsen är högst i närheten av berget och dammen vid den djupaste, renaste delen av sjön. Marken ägdes ursprungligen av Appalachian Power Company (som äger sjön) och en grupp av 10 investerare från Bedford köpte landet från Power Company i slutet av 1970-talet och utvecklade underavdelningen bestående av över 400 partier och erbjöd marken till salu en sektion per år, säljer på 4 år.

Beautiful lake home

Property is as advertised. Beautiful and comfortable lake home. The screened in porch across the entire back of the home was amazing-what a great place to relax. The hot tub has seen better days but was functional. Our Thanksgiving stay was quiet, peaceful and fun. The game room area downstairs is perfect to play a game of pool while watching a movie.

Evergreen

Beautiful cabin, short walk to dock with nice Cove for floating or fishing. Comfortable arrangements and spacious kitchen, good for families. Only problem was hot tub was not well taken care of.

Great Start to the New Year!

We had the best time at this cabin! A small group of us (3 couples) stayed here to bring in the new year. We had a great time! There was plenty of room for all of us. The house is lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake was amazing and we even got to meet the lovely owners who were very nice. I would highly recommend this cabin at smith mountain lake. We can't wait to visit again in the summer. Mia

Beautiful fall getaway

Evergreen is an incredible property. Clean, great location, and all the amenities we were looking for. We had a wonderful fall getaway weekend, the area and the trees were beautiful . The kitchen supplied everything I needed to cook all of our delicious meals. The lake was flooded, so we weren’t able to enjoy the dock or lake activities, but we had the pool table and the hot tub to keep us entertained. The porch swing on the lower level patio was a great place to pass the time and take in the beauty of the lake. Lots of space inside with the cozy cabin feel. We will definitely consider staying again.

Lovely home for relaxing and enjoying the lake!

This year, we decided that what we most needed from our family vacation was relaxation. Evergreen provided that to perfection! The home’s rustic décor was warm and inviting, with plenty of room for us, our two adult children and our dog to sprawl on the couch and chat. We ate all of our meals on the long screened porch, which feels like being in a tree house. Having the bedrooms open to the porch too was such a treat – cool evening breezes all night long. We lounged on the dock (a short, easy walk from the lower patio), swam in the lake, canoed, and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the property. Nights included grilling, games of pool, and the hot tub. The home is clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen well-equipped. At the end of our week, we definitely were refreshed and restored by our visit. Can’t wait to return to this lovely home!

Relaxing, Enjoyable Property - Needs a Couple More Necessities

I'll start by saying I've rented homes a Smith Mountain Lake for several years. The lake has become our getaway destination for a summer vacation and, more recently, the winter holidays. Therefore, I feel I have a reasonable context for evaluating this property. Overall we enjoyed our visit to this cabin. It had all the important qualities, but lacks a few details that could make this a better property. I would probably stay here again. Pros: It has a rustic, authentic feel to it, creating a warm, cozy feeling. Everything upstairs is real wood. It has full length upper and lower decks which are great for socializing, reading, relaxing, etc. The home has an easy, intuitive layout. The kitchen is large and well suited for cooking for a full house. The interior furnishings and decorating match the log cabin feel. The bedrooms are about the right size, not too small. The large boat dock also has a canoe for guests to use. The lower level is a walkout basement with a large open area with a pool table a television viewing are. For us, the kids played downstairs, the adults socialized upstairs - worked out really well. Cons: A week before our stay began we found out we needed to bring our own queen size sheets. I feel this should have been communicated in the property description or before we booked. We don't own any queen size beds, so this was somewhat of an inconvenience. I felt as if the $120 cleaning fee should have included washing sheets. It's the first property I've stayed at that didn't provide sheets. Once we arrived we found out that were lots of other things not in the house. We needed to make a couple trips to grocery store for small things like toilet paper, dish washing soap, hand soap, paper towels, cleaning spray, wash clothes, scrub brushes etc. You'll need to bring all your own cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Again, this is the first property I've stayed at that didn't provide these necessities.

New Years Get away

We rented this house for a few days after Christmas. This house is absolutely perfect for any occasion. It was beautiful and comfortable. The weather was beautiful and temperature was in the 50s and 60s. We enjoyed sitting out on the docks and taking the canoe out on the lake.

Relaxing getaway

Our family rented based on reviews (mostly cleanliness) glad to say Reviews were accurate, the house was extremely well taken care of. There was plenty of space (and furniture) to spend quality time together or sneak a nap on the deck swing. There are too many things about the house I liked to list but I do have a comment (but are by far not negative just suggestions). Placement of hooks along the house or dock to hang towels/life jackets/wet clothing. Great stay!

Don't count on good hot tub relaxation or use of canoe.

Over all was good. Lower ratings due to hot tub not being adequate operating condition & paddle for canoe locked away with no access. These two issues were main factors for selecting the location.

Screened-In Luxury

The house was one of the cleanest we’ve ever been in, the decor of functional antiques and collectibles, and wonderful original art created a nice relaxing atmosphere. But it was the full-length screened in porch that we lived on, traversing from master bedroom to living room. We ate, rocked, read, and sighed with content while looking at the lake and native wildlife (deer, heron, bass a’jumpin’).

Perfect sibling Getaway

This property was absolutely perfect for our sibling getaway. It was the first time we were able to be together since Covid. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms the house was in a beautiful location and it was so clean and had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic Week Away

This was a trip our family had been needing. This property is laid out so well to enjoy the water from inside, outside on decks, or lakeside on the dock. Because the top porch is screened in, it makes for a great place to sit even during rain.

Lovely Stay

My friends and I had a really lovely stay over a long weekend. The house was clean and well kept, though the fireplace wasn’t working. Check-in/check-out were easy and straightforward. Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous

The lake house was the perfect short vacation that we needed after the holidays. The cabin was beautiful and had everything that we needed. All the beds were comfortable and the pool table was a plus! I can't wait to visit again in the summer so we can enjoy the lake more in the warmer weather.

Great little cabin

A private cabin nestled back in a wooded area. Neighbors are near but you really wouldn’t know it. We had two peaceful porches... one screened one open. The hot tub needs replaced. Jets don’t work.... and a few other oddities (broken lamp) unmatched light bulbs... some cold blue, others warm yellow & unsecured throw rugs that are just a slip & fall hazard... along with rickety unstable benches at the kitchen counter. All simple fixes that should be made by the owner. Other than that, having our own deck to swim & boat from was completely awesome paired with the “lake community” feel that Smith lake offers... We enjoyed every day!! Next time we’ll rent a boat for the week!

Great cabin in quiet cove

Beautiful old cabin close to the lake in quiet cove. Dock boards are worn and rough. Use of boat lift is a plus.

Small issues

Septic issue which we were advised to use water as little as possible until fixed. Once fixed (the next day) no communication from your office until the following day after it was fixed. Communication could be improved.

Cute Cabin Right on Lake

This house is a cute little cabin right on the lake. It had a lot of positives: great layout, nice decor, great screened in porch with a great view of the lake, a open kitchen/eating area; hot tub that our kids loved; canoe for boating around; some DVDs that we watched as a family and some games/puzzles. There were some cons, however: (1) the house was very dark and there were no over-head lights; we had 3 full days of rain and the house was pretty gloomy; (2) the master bed was not very comfortable, every time my husband or I shifted weight the entire bed would move; (3) the boat dock was in need of some attention/repair; we found a railing broken with nails sticking up; (4) it was a bit annoying to have to take the trash to a local dump...we ended up going 3x during our stay because we didn't want any trash piling up.
