Everything was superb! We had a very relaxing time. The house was perfect and nice and quiet with beautiful view of the Pacific!Don’t hesitate to book this house if it’s available, it’s a good place to be!

This place was absolutely stunning! Even better than the pictures. Rose was a fantastic host and communication was great prior to and after check in.The staff were so kind and helpful as well. They even played peekaboo with the baby while tending the property, they made us feel so at home and were not the least bit intrusive. It was an absolutely unforgettable stay and look forward to returning

This was such a great property! We came to rest and disconnect from normal life and this house offered so many ways to do that, every couch, chair, table, bed, hammock was amazing and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook whatever meal you could imagine. Staying in was easy and we didn't lack for anything. This house would also be great for the group that wanted to do all the things that this part of the country had to offer, it is in a great location that is close to all the great beaches and restaurants that although the view makes you feel secluded, you can easily be in the middle of any activity. We enjoyed the communication we received from the host and the care we felt from Dolores and Carolina, the caretakers of the property. We look forward to our next vacation at the Sea House!

Words cannot describe how beautiful the sea house is and have recommended to all the people we know back in the states. All of the rooms were hospital clean. Carolina and Dolores were super Amazing sweet people that will help with anything including cooking for you. The views are straight out of a movie. Sadly the super sweet dog that greeted us with a toy every time we arrived passed away the second day we were there. I really felt we had our own personal security guard outside the house and for the small time that he was around petey sure made us feel welcomed. The pool is crystal clear and satisfying to swim in. We WILL definitely come back in the future. 1000% recommend this to anyone that comes to San Juan del sur. Once again thank you Denise,Carolina, Dolores and the star of the house petey.

Beautiful house with a great view, the host was super available at any time and always was very helpful. Please read her welcome package as there is very important info in there! I’d recommend following all of her recommendations to a tee for a seemless experience in Nicaragua

Great Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. It is a good location, The Sea House is a beautiful place and view was amazing. Marina & Eddy are very friendly and take care of anything you need. I also recommend taking advantage of Marina's cooking services. She (and Eddy) are fantastic cooks.

Exceeded expectations

We stayed for just a little over one week and have plans to return. Rose (owner) has been fantastic to deal with and her home is absolutely beautiful with every amenity a guest would want. Our visit was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Beautiful property!

We came to visit the sea house in April, the weather was warm and dry and perfect for beach, surf, fun. We were 3 adults who love to bird watch, hike, surf, swim, bike, climb, sit, read, and enjoy nature. This place was perfect. The onsite staff is lovely and always ready to help or answer a question. We cooked in that beautiful kitchen many mornings and nights and just enjoyed sitting outside to eat and wind down for the night. Beds were extremely comfortable and it’s nice each bedroom had a bath connected. We would totally come stay again and recommend others to stay as well!

Beautiful property full of class and charm

The Sea House was a fantastic vacation rental!!! The whole house is beautifully decorated and has a fantastic ocean view. The swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids ( and grown ups). The owner is very accommodating and the dog listens better than the children. Definitly would rent again.

The property is stunning with nothing needed. A little bit of a hike into town, but nothing too strenuous. We were visiting g during the rainy season, so when we come back (and we plan on it!) we will bring some rain gear.

Loved our stay at the Seahouse!!

We spent 9 nights at the Seahouse, and was the perfect spot for relaxation and introduction to Nicaragua. Rose was a great host from communicating all the information we needed, she left nothing out. Marina and Eddy were great and take good care of the house and then Petey will have you cuddling with him once you meet him. I would recommend the seahouse and return in a heartbeat. 5 stars!!

I had a great experience overall with my stay. Rose (the owner) is very thorough and covers a lot of questions you might have up front. She will send you a welcome packet a few days before your stay… READ IT lol. I found myself with questions and referring to the packet often and sure enough the answers were there.All of the care takers of the property were very friendly. I didn’t even know they were there unless I needed help with something. I personally really appreciated knowing someone was there. Also, I loved the dog. He’s very friendly and playful. I highly recommend you stay here if you are visiting San Juan Del Sur!

Paradise

This is my second time staying at this beautiful home in San Juan del Sur. My family and I had a great time during our way too short 3 night stay. We loved hanging out by the pool, played table games, read books while relaxing on the hammock, cooked and made awesome memories. The Sea House had everything we needed to make delicious family meals. Marina and Eddy are always so kind and helpful. The house is close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of the birds singing in the morning. We can’t wait to be back in this beautiful home which so perfectly highlights the natural beauty of my beloved Nicaragua.

Best VRBO stay E-V-E-R

If you have found this property, you have obviously read the reviews… There is nothing else to be said or reiterated. The house is impeccable. The grounds are magnificent. The location is unbeatable. Everything from a kitchen any chef would be proud of to the furnishings, the comfy beds, the pool, the indoor/outdoor speakers built-in to the stereo - truly his paradise in San Juan Del Sur. Every interaction we had from the initial booking with the owner to the arrival and check-in with the property manager, to the staff on the property was five stars! We are already planning our return.

Absolute treasure !

We loved everything about this spot. Lots of space, fully equipped - there wasn't anything we couldn't find. Petey the house pup was amazing ! - I feel like that's the new amenity we will look for when we search for homes. - he really stole our hearts since our pup recently passed. The view is gorgeous this really is the place you want to book when you come to San Juan Del Sur, far enough from the noise that you can enjoy the peace and quite but close enough you can join the party when you want. You will not be disappointed !

Best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

As a family of 5 (two adults and three children ages 16,14,12) it can sometimes be a challenge to find the right spot. This home was perfect in every way. Not to close and not to far from town. Great layout. Views and ocean breezes fantastic. The best staff ever. Marina and Eddie were the icing on the cake. They take care of the grounds, the house, and are extra helpful. Marina's cooking is fantastic! We are sad to leave but happy to have had the opportunity to experience part of Nicaragua in SJDS in this wonderful home. For sure coming back!

True relaxation with all of the comforts of home

The Sea House has it all. We have been VRBO renters for many years and this home is by far one of the nicest we have been lucky enough to rent. The grounds are truly beautiful with a gorgeous view of the Pacific ocean. The pool tempts you day and night, but there are so many things to do so close by that it is hard to balance all you want to do - beaches, island tours, zip-lining, restaurants, surfing .... all within a short drive. The caretakers of the home are responsive but not intrusive. And the owner of the home could not be more helpful in managing all of the details of the trip. This property truly deserves 5 stars.

Perfection

I can't say enough about my experience. From the time I booked Rose made me feel like a friend. The pictures on here do not begin to do this house justice. The detail on everything had me in just as much awe as the sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, the pool couldn't have been better and Eddy and Marina were great. And Petey took me on a walk that had even more amazing views. Marina's cooking is fantastic too. I could go on and on about how great everything was. Thanks so much Rose !

Do not miss this property

The Sea House really lives up to its excellent reviews!!! We all felt like we were in an absolute dream. The house is beyond gorgeous with every single detail thought of. Marina was an absolute gem, cooking amazing meals and helping pick up our groceries. The view is stunning and if you can believe it the pictures don’t do the house justice. The house is a 15 or so minute walk from a very secluded and beautiful beach, it has all the perks!! The beds were so comfortable all of us looked at the brand individually to see if we could buy the mattresses ourselves at home. We can’t wait to come back!! Do not skip this incredible home.

Even Better The 2nd Time Around!

We visited SJDS in February 2014 and stayed at The Sea House (which was our 2nd time to Nicaragua). And we had such an amazing time, that we booked again this past February. And believe it or not, we had an even more amazing time the second time around! The Sea House is absolutely lovely and boasts any type of amenity you could wish for on vacation. The pool is gorgeous and the views and property around the home are so wonderful that it makes it hard to ever want to leave! Eddie and Marina took good care of us and Marina is quite talented in the kitchen! The owners are a dream to work with and incredibly responsive and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this property and hope to go back again next year! We use VRBO for our travels frequently and this is hands down the best property we have found.

Okay so first off the pictures do not do this amazing home justice. I will need to be ripped out of here kicking and screaming. The house is so beautiful and inviting the owners have done a spectacular job. I am already telling my friends that we are coming back. Also Rose is totally amazing, she sent me this package of so much information to do in the San Juan del Sur area. Made planning our holiday so much easier. If you are coming to San Juan and want to rent a piece of paradise you need to look no further, just book it and you will not regret it. This home has things you didn't even know you wanted including a great Caine pal. Perfection!

Incredible property that exceeds all expectations

Other reviews have said it, and it's totally true: the photos of this property can't capture its amazingness! I knew I'd found a great rental, but I was blown away when we arrived. The property outside and views are stunning, there is so much space and different areas/types of seating throughout the house and outdoors for whatever mood, the interior decor is on point, beds are super comfortable and nothing is worn or dated. Rose is a stellar host and not only does she provide an abundance of information before the rental, but she's very responsive to questions. The caretakers, Marina and Eddy, are lovely and so helpful and as two women staying at the house for a few nights, we loved knowing that Marina and Eddy were right next door, along with Petey the guard dog. I can't think of a single thing to suggest to improve this property!
