VÀlkommen till den lata ödlan! Lay Lizard Àr ett nytt strandhus i Bay till Breakers pÄ Fort Morgan halvön i Gulf Shores. Om du gillar lugn och ro nÀr du Àr pÄ semester, sÄ Àr det hÀr platsen för dig. Stranden i slutet av strandpromenaden Àr privat till vÄr Bay till Breakers Community.

Den stora Saline poolen och barnpoolen ligger bara nÄgra steg bort. Detta Àr community pool men jag har aldrig sett mer Àn en familj av 4 i det, sÄ det finns inga folkmassor hÀr, bara skönhet och fred att njuta av.

Den lata ödlan erbjuder 4 sovrum och 2. 5 bad!

SOVRUM # 1: MASTER KING SUITE (nere) privat badrum, med en plattskÀrms-TV och privat dÀck som öppnar frÄn befÀlhavaren med utsikt över poolen och bukten.

SOVRUM # 2: (pÄ övervÄningen) erbjuder queen size-sÀng, vÄningssÀngar (2 tvillingar) och en platt-tv

SOVRUM # 3: (pÄ övervÄningen) erbjuder full storlek sÀng och flatscreen tv

Det finns ett stort bad med dubbla fÄfÀngligheter som ligger pÄ övervÄningen samt ett stort soldÀck för att sola, lÀsa eller bara slappna av!

Det finns ett stort vardagsrum med plattskÀrms-TV och kök / matsal combo alla öppna med vardagsrum och franska dörrar som leder ut till en tÀckt / skÀrmad veranda för att Àta och koppla av medan du njuter av utsikten och den stÀndiga brisen mellan bukten och hamnen. Det finns en drottning bÀddsoffa i huvud vardagsrummet ocksÄ. Köket Àr fullt utrustat med alla nya rostfria vitvaror och granit bÀnkskivor.

Poolen ligger 20 meter frÄn trappans botten och stranden Àr en 500 promenad till strandpromenaden. Om du tröttnar pÄ stranden och poolen har vi ocksÄ gjort tillgÄng till piren i viken över gatan sÄ att du kan gÄ fiske eller ta din grÀsmatta och sitta och titta pÄ solnedgÄngen. Vi har lagt till en eldstaden pÄ bakgÄrden sÄ att du kan sitta ute med eld och njuta av kvÀllsbrisen.

Under huset finns gott om parkering och en plats för grillning (kolgrill) eller med en rÀkningskokning. VÀlskötta hundar Àr vÀlkomna för en husdjuravgift och mÄste förbli i koppel nÀr de Àr borta frÄn vÄr egendom, men Fort Morgan Beach Àr den enda stranden i Gulf Shores som gör att din hund faktiskt pÄ stranden med dig kan leka.

Byggnaden av Lazy Lizard blev fÀrdig 2013 och allt Àr glÀnsande och nytt. My family and grandparents stayed for the week. No issues whatsoever. The pool being so close was great for my kids. Short walk to the beach. Would stay again for sure. Host was easy to work with. Fort Morgan is the best.

I love Bay to Breakers

House was great. Nice screened in deck area for outdoor dining and great uncovered deck that overlooked the community pool. Just a short walk to the beach and close enough to walk to Tacky Jacks. I'd stay here again in a minute!

Hidden gem

Our first time staying at the Lazy Lizard, second time staying in Ft Morgan. This home was absolutely beautiful, perfect for our family and we enjoyed it! We met the owners Liz and Danny they were super nice and helpful. Tammi the property manager was awesome to work with too! It was easy access to the beach and the pool is right next to the house. Our favorite spot in the home was the enclosed deck eating area, we could hear the waves of the ocean and feel the light breeze. I highly recommend staying here! We look forward to coming back next year!

Away From the Maddening Crowd

Fort Morgan was the perfect place to vacation for my family of 10. There were 6 adults and 4 children, ranging in age from 8 to 14. The house was comfortably furnished with the screened-in porch and master bedroom deck our favorite spots. Our hardest decision each morning was rather to go to the pool or the beach. The house has parking underneath with shower facilities outside to wash away all the sand. Located next to the pool and a short walk to the beach made it ideal. Tacky Jacks 2 is close by for for food and drinks as is Sassy Bass, a restaurant and small market. Fort Morgan is 5 minutes away. We liked being away from all the hustle and bustle of Orange Beach but still being able to go there if we wanted.

Great Fort Morgan Property!

We loved our stay at the Lazy Lizard! The pool location was very close and we enjoyed there being 2 pools. The pools were never too crowded, which was also a plus. Beach access is very close as you just need to walk down to the end of the court to access it. Just a heads-up that there are multiple preset canopies/tents on the beach to rent which are worth the cost to claim your spot on the beach. We did not do that this trip and had to find a spot to set up our own pop-up canopy, which we still had room for, but it would have been worth it to rent one and have your spot claimed everyday and not fuss with bringing your own. The house setup was great for our multiple families and we enjoyed the big kitchen, screened-in porch, and multiple decks. Very quiet location, which we loved! Beds are all comfortable and hot water lasts even when multiple people are showering after the beach. We would love to return!

relaxing trip at the beach

My family was very pleased with the Lazy Lizzard house. It was just what we were looking for, a nice place to relax and enjoy each others company. Our ages ranged from 3 to 70+ and it was perfect for all of us. It is a short walk to the beach and the pool is right next door. We planned to go check out the bay but we never made it. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed all 3 of the decks daily. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook our meals and the table on the screen porch was were we had our evening meal every night. This was the first time we brought pets on vacation and we enjoyed having them very much. We brought our 2 dogs, one loved to swim in the gulf and one loved the beach but barked at the water. All of my questions were answered right away by the owner and I would recommend this property.

Comfortable, spacious beach home conveniently located next to the neighborhood pool and easy, close beach access. We did enjoy our stay despite issues with the Wifi and the AC, both of which were dealt with by management in a fair amount of time. We appreciate the ability to bring our leashed dogs on the beach and into the home. The Ft. Morgan Beach area is a great location if you want to get away from a busy beach and relax.

What we needed

Beautiful beach, not crowded and great family atmosphere. Pools next to house were never crowded but did have regular use. The decks on the house are a wonderful feature. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and small appliances including a crock pot and nice pots and pans. We enjoyed a Ferry Ride to the Aquarium on Dauphin Island and ate at Tacky Jacks and Sassy Bass at Kiva Dunes. Tammi was very responsive to questions we had before we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location with easy access to the beach

We were very happy to have rented this property for a week at spring break. It was a short walk to either the beach or the neighborhood-maintained pier on the inland side of the peninsula. The pool is right next door as well which was convenient. I will also say high winds and other potential noises COULD have been a factor but were not because the house seems very well insulated/sealed and was very quiet inside for sleeping. I would recommend!

We never received email with check in code to access key, when we contacted owner she was snippy saying she sent it the day before. After reviewing all emails we confirmed information was never sent. Was only given1 key for 6 adults. We have visited many beaches and stayed in condos every time and this condo was the least appealing.

Great private beach location

Staying at the lazy lizard was an amazing experience. The house was fully stocked with everything we could ask for, even beach supplies. It was clean and had plenty of room for our two families. We look forward to coming here again!

Great location!

We loved our stay in the Lazy Lizard. The location right next to the pool made it great for our kids. The walk to the beach was not bad at all even with a 2 yo. We had everything we needed as far as towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The dining on the back deck was beautiful and a favorite. We would definitely come again.

We loved the screened in porch. Could see the ocean from both sides! Right next to pool which kids loved. And super close to beach. Loved it! Super clean and a great space .

Our family is from Huntsville, al and has always dreamed of owning a vacation home at the beach. We rented a house in Ft. Morgan a few years back and fell in love with the area and the beaches, so we have finally had our dream come true.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We love the laid back, uncrowded Fort Morgan area, it is a beautiful ride out Hwy 180 to Bay to Breakers and it is only a 20 minute ride to Hwy 59, the super Walmart and an easy jaunt to the strip in Gulf Shores, the property is pet friendly as well as the beach.
