Iâd give this place 3.5-4 stars. First off, the address is wrong in the listing â itâs what the photos show (Morris Street), which is a historical building right downtown near the water. Parking is easy and convenient. The owner didnât send checkin / address info until I asked for it the afternoon before arrival. Iâd also asked for parking info months before (when I originally booked) and never got a reply. Fortunately, on the day of arrival, the owner was communicative and allowed us to get in an hour early. From the notes the owner sent (including âno noise after 11pmâ and the odd address change noted above), my guess is the apartments in this building probably arenât supposed to be temporary VRBO rentals. The place itself is in a great location, but itâs a bit worn â the hallways, the furniture, the pillows, the shower, etc. Items like an old, dirty air conditioner are shoved into closets, and all the outlets are in inconvenient locations with respect to where one would need to charge a phone while sleeping. If they changed out the furniture, cleaned slightly better, had nicer amenities, and fixed up the place slightly, the apartment would be great. Note that this is on the second floor and thereâs no elevator. Itâs totally fine for a night or two, but itâs just not a five star.
