My family and friends had an amazing time. Host very helpful and got back asap to questions. Look forward to staying again for sure.

LOVE all the woodwork (knotty pine and wainscot!), the first floor space is fabulous!HUGE table (and multiple tables) as my/our group LOVES complex board games on rainy days. No joke, they played one for 8 hours when it rained ALL day on a Friday!Bedrooms are a reasonable size.We all cook in our group... but there was no blender or really any parts for the mixer... curiously few cooking tools/hotpads/etc....so odd to us. We are used to other people's kitchens being organized strangely, but had a hard time finding things. Cupboards/storage were great. Dishwasher, stove/oven (induction stove!!! Thank you, I have wanted to try one), etc. good.... but we have some rather tall people in our group and the cooking vent/light corners kept hitting them in the forehead! It could be raised about 4-6 inches.... If you are tall, just be careful.Lots of great deck space, and lots of stairs to get there... good emergency lights and multiple emergency exits!Close proximity to some good hiking trails, shops and other useful / helpful / enjoyable places, but REALLY on top of other properties! Light from other properties and street lights may be an issue for some.WIFI was good.Few paper supplies, soap etc., be prepared to bring/buy your own. It's not a hotel.

Beautifully decorated rustic spacious home. Very clean. Many new amenities. Kitchen is very up-to-date. Host was very responsive. Canal right behind house is great for kayaking. Ice cream shop in front has great variety. You have to access the house through the ice cream shop parking lot which always has a line of people. Though the park parking lot is right next door and convenient to park at. Park with beach, playground, tennis courts is only 100 yd away. Very close to many hiking trails of various difficulty. Can jog to most of them. All together a great place.

We had 12 friends that grew up together and have known each other for 50 years. We had come to the Parquet for years, but stopped once COVID hit. We were very glad we able to rent it.The Parquet House was perfect for all of us. We do have a few suggestions: Some mats on the bathroom floors would be good to avoid slipping. We knew we had to bring sheets and towels, but we also needed toilet paper, paper towels and dish detergent and a scrubber. Not a big deal, but be good to know we needed to bring those items. The nearby grocery store in Inlet was great for those items and others.We think the Parquet House is a great place and the upgrades make it even better!
