The Jolly Rancher is a brand-new, modern cottage-style home thoughtfully designed and custom built by us to create the perfect getaway near Hershey. Whether you're planning a fun-filled family vacation or a relaxing retreat, our cozy, amenity packed home offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.

We're just a phone call away throughout your stay, ready to assist you with any questions or concerns. For added convenience, we also provide in-person support and maintenance whenever necessary.

The Jolly Rancher is nestled in a small, quiet neighborhood, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventures. You’re within walking distance to a grocery store and shopping center, and just a five-minute drive to all Hershey attractions—including Hersheypark, Chocolate World, downtown Hershey, and more.

If you’ve stayed with us before or seen our other listings, you might recognize the area—The Jolly Rancher is located right next door to our other property, the Cocoa Chateau! Traveling with a larger group? Book both homes for an even sweeter stay with more room for everyone.

Guests are welcome to enjoy full access to the entire property during their stay.

There is driveway parking for up to four vehicles maximum. We cannot accommodate any additional vehicles beyond that limit, and there is no street parking. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a peaceful neighborhood experience.

The Jolly Rancher is located just 15 minutes from Harrisburg International Airport, so you'll be relaxing in no time. If you're arriving by train, the Middletown Amtrak station is only a 15-minute drive away.

Once you’re here, you're just 5 minutes from all things Hershey—including Hersheypark, Chocolate World, and downtown Hershey. And if you’d rather not drive, Uber and other rideshare options are easily available to help you get around with ease.

A train track is located nearby, and while the train usually does not blow its whistle, you may hear it pass by occasionally. Noise machines are available in every bedroom for added comfort.

The basement bedroom tends to stay cooler than the upstairs rooms. Extra blankets are provided in every bedroom for your convenience and warmth.

As this is a brand-new home, the lawn has been recently seeded—you may notice this in our photos. But don’t worry! With a little sun and warm weather, the grass will be coming in soon. The fenced-in backyard area features turf grass, so your outdoor experience won’t be affected at all.

Early Check-In & Late Checkout Policy:

We do our best to accommodate requests for early check-ins and late checkouts whenever possible. However, we’re only able to offer this if there are no other guests checking in or out on the same day as your arrival or departure. This helps us ensure we have enough time to properly prepare the space and maintain our high standards for cleanliness and quality.

If we are able to accommodate your request, there is an additional fee of $35 per hour for early arrivals or late departures. The earliest available check-in time is 1:00 PM, and the latest checkout time we can offer is 12:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding!

⚠️ Important Protection Policy: To help us care for The Jolly Rancher and stay compliant with local short-term rental regulations, we partner with Truvi, a trusted guest verification platform. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a secure email and/or text prompting you to complete a quick identity verification step with us.

As part of the process, you'll choose between:
- A refundable security deposit, or
- A non-refundable damage waiver
Both options provide protection for accidental damage during your stay—we simply offer flexibility based on your preference.

Airbnb Guests: If you're booking through Airbnb, guest screening and insurance is already handled through the platform. However, we will still kindly ask you to sign our standard rental agreement before your stay begins.
