Kopparhytt - Amish Crafted Log Cabin

Den nya kopparhytten tÀnker pÄ ord som "varm, tyst, fredlig och fÀrgstark." Vi kunde sÀtta det hÀr tillsammans igen med hjÀlp av familj och vÀnner som hjÀlpte oss att visa sina skatter och med den lokala Amish som hjÀlpte oss att skapa och bygga den.

Kopparhytten rymmer 10 personer. 2 sovrum pÄ bottenvÄningen och 3 extra sÀngar i stort loftomrÄde, 2 fulla badkar (med Jeffs anpassade duschkabin pÄ övervÄningen!), Komplett kök med alla köksredskap, kabel-tv, tÀckt veranda, uteplats, brandplats, kolgrill.
Vi Àr tuckade tillbaka i skogen, sÄ du Àr mer benÀgna att se en hjort eller kalkon Àn en annan person! Men vi Àr bara nÄgra minuter frÄn hela omrÄdet att erbjuda: hundratals miles av ATV spÄr, fiske, bÄtliv, vandring, golf. Det finns Äret runt lokala evenemang, mÀssor och loppmarknader, som Strawberry Fest pÄ sommaren, TranbÀr Fest i höst och mÄnga fler dÀremellan. Ett lokalt bryggeri, vingÄrd, utmÀrkta lokala restauranger och bra gammaldags service!

House is very clean and a good getaway location. House is extremely noisy. Upstairs floor creaks and squeaks. Cannot walk up there without the whole house hearing. Door handles are also very loud. Definitely no sleeping in there with a house full. Cute place, just very creaky. Heat was not on when we arrived and it took a good 12 hours to get it over 55 degrees in there.

The cabin is in a quiet, secluded location which we enjoyed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are adequate. Some negatives about the property are that the living room space is small; there were five of us and there are only five upholstered seats meaning we had to get quite cozy. The dining area seating was not sturdy. One chair had obviously been broken prior and cobbled back together. Our main concerns were the lack of amenities such as the fact that we needed to bring our own toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels/wash cloths. There was only one garbage bag in the cabin. The hand soap in the lower bathroom had obviously been watered down. Overall, we have been staying at either the Red Roof or Copper Roof cabin for our yearly getaway for the past five years and have decided we will be staying elsewhere next year. We found a place, comparably priced, that has wifi and where we don’t have to bring our own towels, paper products, and garbage bags.

Private location. Not inviting with concrete floors and old area rugs were tripping/slipping hazards. Loft area was extremely creaky and noisy to main level sleepers.

The cabin was very cute and clean, well furnished and the layout was perfect! We appreciated the toaster and coffee maker for breakfast. We spent the majority of our time on the UTV trails. The location of the cabin was great for trail access. There was plenty of parking for 2 vehicles and trailers. We would definitely recommend for small group or families.The only negative was the creaky floor in the loft.

Great trip. Clean cabin that was close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Rented side x sides and kayaks from Webb’s rental in Hatfield. Weather was great and cabin was fantastic. Five beds for 5 guys. Nobody had to share. Huge selling point for us.

Great little cabin! I think a few small changes would really make this place feel more comfortable- several of the lights don’t work and the light bulbs were all different temperatures and it was offputting. Replacing them with the same kind would really help. Better blankets and pillows. Overall it was a great value and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen.

Quiet and Peaceful

Really enjoyed our time at the Copper Cabin. It had all that we needed. Close to restaurants, nature and perfect spot to visit our extended family in the area. We flew in to the Twin Cities from NYC and the drive was so easy. We will definitely be back.

Quiet & Restful

Beautiful clearing where I could relax while my children played & explored. Property owners are amazing & know how to create a cozy home away from home. We enjoyed walking down the ATV trail nearby.

Quaint, comfortable cabin

This is a perfect place for my group of friends to stay for a weekend of bumming around the area. It is not luxurious, but very quiet and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and communication with the host was excellent. We have stayed here before and will stay here again!

Great place to stay just a few things could make it better

We absolutely loved this cabins. Loved the location. Loved how it’s set back in the woods. Loved how it was just a quick little atv ride into town where there are places to eat, drink, get fuel, and all that good stuff. Really enjoyed the log cabin feel to this cabin! All our friends really liked it. Having Satellite TV was a huge plus when I wasn’t feeling so good and decided just to lay around the cabin. The showers were great, I loved the upstairs shower! There are just 2 things that my entire group agreed on that could make this cabin ALOT better. 1) the beds could really be updated. They arnt very comfortable and 2) for the price of this cabin I would expect some WiFi but I will say the cell service at the cabin was great! Great stay! my group and myself will be back !!
