Escape the hustle and unwind in this peaceful bungalow, just 2.5 miles from New Hope Overlook boat ramp and 5 miles from Ebenezer Church recreation area & boat ramp at beautiful Jordan Lake. Whether you're here to fish, paddle, or just relax by the water, this cozy retreat has you covered. There's plenty of parking space for your boat, jet skis, or other lake toys.
We're also conveniently located near Enchanted Garden and The Bradford, making this a great stay for wedding guests.
Tucked away on a peaceful 4-acre property and surrounded by woods, this cozy apartment offers a quiet escape just steps from nature. Located directly across from the main house, the space feels private yet connected.
The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, bathroom, TV, and WiFi—everything you need for a relaxing stay. Upstairs, you'll find two connected sleeping areas: one with a Full bed and one with a Queen. It’s an ideal setup for a couple, a small group of friends, or a family with children.
Traveling with a furry friend? We’re dog friendly (with a small fee), so feel free to bring your four-legged companion along for the adventure.
Guests love the peaceful, wooded setting—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding after a day on Jordan Lake.
Please note: For security, a motion-activated camera faces the driveway and records video and audio when triggered. The main house also has a Ring Doorbell that faces the apartment.
Guest access
You’ll have the entire apartment to yourselves for a private and peaceful stay. Guests are welcome to explore the property—just please avoid the fenced-in backyard of the main house. Our friendly dogs enjoys roaming that space freely!
All important check-in details, including access instructions, will be sent 48 hours before your arrival.
If you’d like to check in early, feel free to reach out! We’re happy to accommodate early arrivals when possible, depending on availability and our cleaning schedule.

We live in the country, surrounded by woods—it's peaceful, private, and a true escape from the hustle and bustle! Here are a few things to keep in mind during your stay:
1. Pet Policy (Dogs Only):
We're happy to host one well-behaved dog (up to 75 lbs) for a $60 pet fee per stay. We provide water and food bowls, a dog towel, and a couch cover to help your pup feel at home.
2. Internet Connection:
WiFi is available, but please note we don’t have access to high-speed fiber in our area (they just laid the fiber, now we're waiting to be connected!). The current speed is up to 10 Mbps download. It works well for most needs but may be spotty at times.
3. Critter Awareness:
We take pest control seriously and stay on top of treatments to keep bugs out. That said, we’re in the woods—so if doors are left open or lights are on upstairs at night, the occasional critter may sneak in. If anything’s a concern, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.
4. Smoking Policy:
Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the unit (tobacco or otherwise). A $250 cleaning fee will apply if this policy is violated. You're welcome to smoke outside—just please dispose of butts and remnants properly.
5. Nearby Amenities:
There are three small gas stations/convenience stores within a few miles for basics, but the nearest town with grocery stores, restaurants, etc., is about 10 miles (20 minutes) away. We love the privacy out here, but it may not be ideal for those who want shops and restaurants around the corner.
6. Lighting & Bugs:
Please turn off indoor lights when you leave the apartment, especially upstairs at night. Leaving lights on can attract gnats and tiny bugs despite our best efforts.
7. Weather & Power Outages:
Since we’re in a rural area, occasional power/internet outages can happen during storms. While it’s rare and usually resolved quickly, we want to be upfront—refunds will not be issued for outages caused by weather or other utility-related interruptions that are beyond our control. If anything does happen, we’ll do our best to keep you informed and comfortable.
