Romantic Trullo for 2/3 sea view pool Wifi, wonderful peaceful garden

Bella Terra is a restored flat topped trullo in a beautiful private garden setting with sea views. It is located in the countryside halfway between Carovigno and Santa Sabina.Whilst in the countryside it is only 5 minutes drive to either the town of Carovigno or the beach of Santa Sabina. The garden has figs, plums, lemons, pears, apples, grapes almonds, olives, pomegranate and a few other exotic fruits when in season.
I make my own organic olive oil which can be purchased .
A Puglian paradise with panoramic see views from the garden and roof terrace. Only 25 minutes drive from Brindisi airport! Its a very relaxing, romantic hideaway perfect for two people or extra person on single sofabed in living area.
There are 2 hammocks, a barbecue and 5 metre circular pool for your private use only during the summer. Roof terrace with panoramic sea views
Large patio area, table and chairs for your outdoor dining, large gazebo and BBQ. Stroll around the beautiful land and sample the fruit. The house has a gated drive and security system. Lovely four star hotel, (Corte di Fero) with a large swimming pool very nearby. Owners house next door using separate garden area and Louisa is on hand for any help or information about the area. She is very respectful of guests privacy. WiFi and Aircon linens beach towels and welcome breakfast pack included.


Louisa is an artist and teacher. If you would like to have creative art lessons during your holiday, lessons are available from 9.30 -1.00 at a cost of ÂŁ 75 per person including materials.

Holistic massage is also available.
Louisa is a very experienced massage therapist incorporating sports massage, craniosacral therapy Reiki and Chinese cupping. Treatments are one hour.
A warm welcome awaits you with homemade jam, fruit, bread milk eggs and wine.

Un magnifique petit coin de paradis au milieu des oliviers. L' accueil de la propriétaire ne manque pas de belles petites délicates attentions, le frigo était plein à notre arrivée, boissons fraßches, produits du terroir confitures maisons, sans parler du petit cadeau avant notre départ de Louisa qui nous a offert un flacon d'huile d'olive de sa propre production et nous a laissé l'accÚs à son verger pour déguster les fruits du jardin : raisin, figues, figues de barbarie, citrons.... Un régal !!La vue est splendide et permet de voir la mer surtout du toit terrasse et l'emplacement reste stratégique, loin des masses touristiques mais proche des sites à visiter comme Ostuni, Alberobello, Polignano a mare et j'en passe.Le site ne manque pas de points d'approvisionnement,pour faire ses courses, le plein d'essence (Carovigno à 5-10 minutes en voiture avec une activité nocturne importante, surtout sur la grande place du quartier historique avec animations, restaurants, bar, etc...).L'accÚs à la mer est tout aussi rapide , 10 à 15 minutes en voiture avec plage de sable et restauration possible sur place.En résumé, un endroit magnifique et stratégique pour visiter les Pouilles.

Perfect spot to relax

What a darling place to stay! Louisa went above and beyond to make is comfortable. The grounds are so relaxing and the trullo was charming. We would recommend having your own form of transportation as it is out in the country.

Eine nette kleine Unterkunft, ruhig, sehr schöner Ausblick in die Ferne auf das Meer, viele unterschiedliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, MĂŒcken, sauberer Pool, nicht fĂŒr Regen geeignet, da bisher keine feste AußenĂŒberdachung. Louisa, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wohnt aber direkt neben an. Die StrĂ€nde sind leider sehr mit Strandliegen voll gestellt. Einzig der Strand im Naturschutzgebiet u der Strand von Pilone hat unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Carovigno ist eine nette kleine Stadt im Zentrum. Alles in allem haben wir uns gut erholt.

Lovely September break

We had a lovely stay at Louisa's place. She had stocked up with food and drinks before our arrival, and supplied all towels, cleaning equipment and everything else you could need. The garden was a lovely oasis, with plenty of areas to relax with a cool drink and read a book, or just doze after a day at the beach! Nearby, Carovigno had a great choice of restaurants and a good supermarket. Great attractions like Ostuni and Alborobello were easy to reach by car and it's just a couple of minutes to the train station, for an easy trip to Lecce. Louisa was helpful in all respects, even when we arrived really late at night due a diverted flight. We really enjoyed our time here and happily recommend it!

Wonderful place to releax

Luisa is an excellent hostess and a wonderful lady. The holiday home is small, but it offers everything you need. The large garden, the great roof terrace with a view of the sea, the 5m pool, the outdoor dining area with grill and many other things make for a great holiday. The holiday home is ideally located for traveling around Puglia (and only 5 minutes by car to the sea). We had two wonderful weeks and thank Luisa for her hospitality, her helpfulness and her discreet manner. We will certainly have positive memories of this holiday for a long time to come.

Great stay! Great Hostess!

We had a wonderfull stay at Bella Terra. The house is compact but comfortable and has everything you need, such as towels, shampoo, toilet paper, coat racks, bed linen, TV, oven, washing machine, iron, etc. The location of “Bella Terra” is perfect for day trips to special places of interest like Lecce, Alberobello and many others , and “ Bella Terra” is quietly located. When arrived, we received a warm welcome from Louisa, and she offered us homemade jam, eggs and delicious Limoncello. The garden is definitely the place to be. A large part of the garden is reserved for guests. The garden is delightfull with lots of places to relax and sit under the olive trees, equipped with garden chairs, sun loungers and hammocks. We also loved the new swimming pool which was big enough, and we loved also the outdoor shower. We could also enjoy the plums and figs that grow on the trees. Louisa said : take them , and eat them, as much as you can . Louisa lives next door. She is attentive to your needs, but affords you space to do your own thing and gave us the privacy we needed. If you have a problem, she's happy to help you to solve it ( Louisa: thx to solve our car-problem ) I also enjoyed her massage. She did this very professionally. ( keep breathing : In......out......in.....out ) We also bought olive oil and it was packaged super professionally. So : We can definitely recommend “ Bella Terra” to everyone. You won't regret it.

Fantastic host. Great location for exploring the area. The property and grounds were fantastic. We had everything we needed and more. We were treated to homemade jam and food and drinks in the fridge when we arrived. It was so peaceful and had amazing views and we would definitely return. We wish we had booked for longer!!

Very peaceful

Had a lovely week here and the host Louisa was delightful and unobtrusive. Fabulous welcome pack and the homemade lemoncello was delicious! The property was small but very comfortable with all the facilies we needed and the outside space was fantastic! Private and quiet with great views! Not far from the town or the beach and easy access to the main roads to get out and about. Overall a good property, lovely host and good location!

Our dream vacation in Puglia

This adorable Trullo was amazing and perfect for us. A slice of country by the sea side, with a flair of Puglia style. Central to some of the best towns to visit in Puglia, whether it be by the sea or country side. Louisa is an amazing host and the details she includes in your stay are amazing. You have a starter for breakfast, lunch and vino all included. Our stay was over the top and would highly recommend to a couple wanting a peaceful, garden stay in Puglia.

An oasis of tranquility

We had a wonderful stay at Bella Terra. Louisa is an amazing host, there is you need her but never intrusive. The inside accommodation is compact but comfortable and has everything you need. Outside is just amazing with so many places to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. It was great to have the pool to cool off. This is a good location for getting around - the train station just 5 mins drive away with frequent services to Lecce and Bari. Good road links too. Our only complaint is that the time went so quickly!

Un accueil parfait de Louisa avec des produits locaux à notre arrivée. Le logement est trÚs propre avec un grand espace extérieur qui permet de se reposer et de se baigner au calme. Le logement est aussi bien situé pour visiter les villes aux alentours. Louisa est toujours de bon conseil pour profiter du séjour. Louisa est une personne généreuse et attentionnée. A perfect getaway

It's a small apartment on a sprawling property - the apartment itself is lovely but the real reason to love the place is the outside. Lots of nooks and crannies to get some sun, take a nap, cool off (the pool and the outdoor shower). I only realized when I came back to Rome for a couple of days how much Louisa's place had let me disconnect and relax. It was everything I was hoping for in a rural Italian getaway.

A wonderful stay

Our stay in Carovigno at Louisa's trullo was lovely. The outdoor space is just amazing - flowers everywhere, the trees and too many space to choose from for relaxing. We enjoyed the sunset from the roofdeck, cooled off in the pool, and ate every meal outside. Louisa is a wonderful host. Her gift of a bottle of wine, her dried figs and jam, and all of the breakfast and snack provisions, was much appreciated. She thought of everything, including beach towels, chairs and umbrella and mosquito coils. We loved our stay in Puglia and Louisa and her home were so much a part of our enjoyment there.

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs bien accueillis par Louisa qui nous avait prĂ©parĂ© quelques provisions essentielles Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. Rien ne manque dans cette location agencĂ©e de maniĂšre pratique. Paradisiaque!

Maisonette super bien Ă©quipĂ©e voire plus et trĂšs mignonne ! De nombreux espaces trĂšs cosy Ă  l'extĂ©rieur afin de profiter de la piscine et du jardin au calme. Louisa est trĂšs accueillante et trĂšs discrĂšte. Trullo Ă  recommander sans hĂ©sitation 😃

Great little get away from it all

Location was great if you're looking to 'get away from it all' like we were, but close enough to all shopping essentials and some interesting locations if needed. Louisa always discreet but on hand, more than generous and helpful when needed. Happy to recommend.

Wonderfull

Kleine accommodatie, maar alles is aanwezig. Mooie en grote tuin. Rustige ligging maar toch vlak bij een badstad en een stad met alle nodige winkels. Autoweg is ook vlakbij (4km), wat handig is voor uitstapjes. Een hoofdstukje apart voor Louisa. Louisa is een pracht van een gastvrouw. Ze had er voor gezorgd dat wij bij aankomst niets tekort kwamen. Water, wijn, brood, fruit en nog dingen waren er voor ons. Ze was er meestal wel, maar ze zorgde er altijd voor dat wij onze privacy hadden. Louisa bedankt voor alles. Small accommodation but everything is there. Nice and big garden. Quiet location yet close to a seaside town and a city with all the necessary shops. Motorway is also nearby (4km), which is handy for trips. A separate chapter for Louisa. Louisa is a wonderful hostess. She had ensured that we were not short of anything upon arrival. Water, wine, bread, fruit and other things were there for us. She was usually there, but she always made sure we had our privacy. Louisa, thanks for everything

Eine kleine Oase fĂŒr zwei Personen

Wir konnten eine wunderschöne Zeit im dem tollen Trullo mit wunderschönem Garten geniessen! Bei Ankunft war alles bereit, sauber und wunderbar gepflegt. Der Garten ist einfach toll und man kann richtig gut entspannen. Gastgeberin Louisa hĂ€lt sich absolut im Hintergrund ist aber fĂŒr jegliche Fragen immer da. Auf der Dachterrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da!

Soluzione spettacolare

Per dirlo in poche parole: abbiamo amato questa casa! La casa Ă© ben attrezzata, tanto che risulta una buona soluzione anche per chi dovesse arrivare in aereo (ma Ă© consigliato poi avere un'auto a disposizione), l'interno non Ă© particolarmente spazioso, ma noi ci siamo stati in 3 senza problemi, all'esterno invece non vi mancheranno angoli relax al sole o all'ombra, dehor e tavolini per mangiare, bere, leggere... Avrete a disposizione una piscina tutta per voi, un barbecue, e un magnifico terrazzo completamente privato dove prendere il sole, anche integrale, se vi fa piacere. Noi abbiamo approfittato della posizione della casa per visitare, Carovigno, Ostuni, Alberobello, Polignano a mare, Monopoli, Cisterinino, Locorotondo, San Vito dei Normanni. E diverse spiagge del litorale, tra cui la riserva di Torre Guaceto che consigliamo vivamente.

Retired teacher and artist whose mother was from Carovigno. Fell in love with the property which I renovated. Love the countryside and close Ness to the sea only 3 km. It's a little peaceful Puglian oasis.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Wonderful sea views, typical Puglian countryside but not isolated, only 5 mins drive to Carovigno which has a lovely piazza and castle. Very close to the railway station for easy travel to Lecce, Bari, Polignano etc. Only 25 mins to Brindisi airport. Really friendly people and not over touristy.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I live nextdoor but very respectful of guests privacy with my own pool and garden. I am available should guests need me and I work hard to provide a comfortable stay for my guests. I provide a welcome pack of breakfast items, wine and fruit upon arrival . All linen including beach towels. My cottage is also ideal for single travellers. Excellent WiFi.
