Rymligt, prisvärd, familjehus, super nära stranden - Heceta Haven

Heceta Haven, började som en 1-rumsstuga 1945. Det har lagts till och ombyggts under åren, och är nu ett rymligt hus på 1200 kvadratmeter som rymmer 8. Det är det sista huset på en kort, slutgata i en av Heceta Beachs ursprungliga grannskap. Den har havsutsikt och ligger bara 2 minuters promenad ner en trädbevuxen spår som du kommer åt direkt från trädgården. Gå in i ytterdörren, in i matsalen-köket som har öppet takbjälkar och en fantastisk utsikt från matsalsbordet. Det finns en bar med stolar, för barnen att spela spel eller göra hantverksprojekt. Kökens kök har en lägenhetstorlek i elektrisk utrustning och diskmaskin och ett frysfritt kylskåp och är välfylld med alla saker du behöver för en familjesammanträde. Det finns ett badrum med duschkabin och utanför huvudområdet

På båda sidor om detta område hittar du ett vardagsrum och sedan ett sovrum. Båda sovrummen har dubbelsängar. Vardagsrummen har båda dubbelviktiga dörrar och båda har fullständiga platta soffor. Det stora sovrummet har eget badrum och en duschkombi och en 32-tums Roku-TV.

Utanför baksidan av huset finns ett stort familjerum, en titt på utsikten och en dörr till trädgården och däck. Med de två överdrivna stolarna, en stor gungstol, soffan, segelflygplanet och 32-tums LCD-TV finns det plats för hela familjen att samla och njuta av en film från den tillhandahållna samlingen eller se en film på Netflix. Det finns också en Sony-stereo med CD-spelare. Du hittar också en eldstad.
Hemmet rymmer totalt 8 personer i de fyra separata sovrummen. Hemmet har 3 TV-apparater, 1 videobandspelare, 2 DVD-spelare och 3 Roku-strömmande internet-TV-spelare, telefon med obegränsad landsomfattande långdistans, stereo, höghastighets wi-fi och en lägenhetstorlek tvättmaskin.

Heceta Haven, har parkering framför och bakom så kan rymma mindre ATV & båt trailers.

Njut av ljudet från bränningen och titta på solnedgångar i orange och guld.

För dig som har besökt oss tidigare. I december 2014 bytte vi ut bäddsoffan i bonusrummet mot en ny plattsoffa. 2016 bytte vi ut sortimentet och kylskåpet mot nya. November 2017 köpte vi en tillverkad i Oregon Stanton soffa till familjerummet, tillsammans med nya grytor och kastruller köksredskap, lampskärmar och sängkläder. Våren 2018 installerades en ny matta i båda sovrummen och nya massiva ytgolv läggs till i resten av huset. Interiör & exteriör målning har också avslutats. Ett nytt matrumsbord köptes som är bekvämt och rymligt

We had higher expectations based on pictures. All exterior decking needs some TLC. The location was good for our purposes. Path to beach was good. Local restaurants were plentiful.

Thank you for your feedback. The exterior decking is Trex composite, which doesn’t require traditional refinishing, but we’ll still take a look to make sure everything is clean and in good condition. This is a great little house. Clean, cozy and close to the beach. There is lots of room to spread out in the house and lots of things to explore in the Florence area. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

We had an excellent time during our stay in Florence. The place was big enough to let us spread out after long days at the beach. It was also very private, which I personally appreciated immensely and the walk to the beach was 2 minutes. I would recommend a better a coffee maker.

Fun and very cool!

My daughter and I flew from Phoenix (118 degrees) to Eugene and drove to Florence. Beautiful cabin with lots of pines, and the home was spotless! Not far to the ocean, but it can be a little rough if you’re handicapped (no scooters or wheelchairs) The bedsheets were amazing! Got a great sleep each night! Host was very helpful when we called to say we were leaving, since we forgot the code we came in with 😄

Excellent Beach Access!

The home was well stocked and generally clean. It is super private, on a dead end road. The beach access is way better than expected. Literally a minute walk right off the front porch, to a great spot. The septic was overflowing in the yard after just two children had a short shower and I did dishes. One of the back sheds is unlocked and absolutely disgusting inside. My children are outside, feral farm children... they found it and stayed away. But it could be a potential safety risk to someone else. This place has TONS of potential and easily accommodates 8 people. Affordable. Needs some tlc though.

I’m very sorry that the septic issue impacted your stay. We work hard to keep the home in excellent condition, and we would have responded right away if we had known there was a problem—our contact number is provided so guests can reach us anytime something isn’t working properly. The septic company diagnosed a pump failure, which prevented the system from moving waste to the drain field. They repaired it within an hour on the day you left, and the system has been running smoothly since. Thank you for sharing your experience. We always want guests to feel comfortable and supported.

Wonderful stay with a beautiful beach path. Extremely pet friendly as the host provides a variety of pet towels, cleaning products, and pet waste bags. One of our favorite things was the variety of seating areas and chairs inside and on the deck of the property. We stayed with 5 adults and a dog and had plenty of room and privacy.

It took us a minute to locate the lockbox for the key, but after than, everything was smooth. It was a great place to relax and close to everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to the beach. Nice space to relax and enjoy.

Easy beach access. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. We also used air mattresses and cots. We brought our extra bedding. Lots of towels. Nice washer and dryer.

Excellent Rental

My family and I spent four nights at this rental. It was well-designed and a great value- particularly considering its proximity to the beach. It was quiet, private, and perfect for a peaceful break from the real world. Lots of great features for a family with a dog. We'll probably return in future.

golf group getaway

This is not the Ritz Carlton...it is a beach cabin with some rough edges. . At the same time, it is functional and clean and perfectly serviceable if you can live without pampering. We did not fix meals in the cabin, but simple meals would be possible. Wifi works well, tv has streaming options most of which mystified our group. If you pick this place, you will stay dry, sleep reasonably well, and not need a teatnus shop.

Nice location, needs work.

There were a few renovation projects unfinished, but everything in the main house was functional. There is a rotten old shack in the back yard and it's very creepy and gross. The door doesn't lock, so I peeked in, but I would never suggest that anyone set foot in there. Looks like it used to be a guest house.

A relaxing getaway

Our family of 4 had a great time! We especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach. (Walk down a short trail and cross the street) The house is not the newest, but it was clean and had everything that we needed. There are a lot of fun options within a short driving distance to the house. (sand dunes, Haceta lighthouse, Sea Lion caves...) I would definitely recommend!

Actually it will be less than one star

I do "Not" recommend staying at the Heceta Haven. Home was Not clean!!! My daughter in-law woke up to a strangers earring stuck to her back (so gross and if that doesn't say; they didn't clean I don't know what does). Couch was sagging/ broke so we could not comfortably enjoy front room area. The screen was coming off of the screen door. Hole in carpet covered up by chair. Dirt and trash items (actual dirt, very old ear plug, bottle cap etc.) found beside furniture also showing place was not cleaned. There was a big WET stain on the carpet in master bedroom. Main bathroom smelled terrible and they have the audacity to charge a cleaning fee!! You only have a very small peekaboo view of the ocean from inside the house. They advertised a Babbling Brook so I was very excited for my grandson to have this to enjoy(he is unable to get to the beach so this was a very big deal. I wanted him to be able to have fun just like everyone else) but THERE IS NO BABBLING BROOK.. I informed management co. of all of these issues, she was aware of most of the problems. She is a very nice lady but only seem to offer excuses. What should have been a very special weekend for our family was definitely diminished by this home and management service.. Great beach house!

Quick trip to Florence to play golf with a friend. This house was perfect for the two of us (with bedrooms at opposite ends of the house and two bathrooms) and could have handled two more guys on the fold down beds. Small but efficient kitchen. Very comfortable, homey feel and very quiet since it's at the end of a dead end street. 6 minutes to Sandpines Golf Course and about the same to Ocean Dunes. Perfect!

Lifes's a beach!

Nice house with room for 8 of us to spread out. The kids could play in one room and adults could visit in another or out on the deck with a view of the ocean. Easy beach access, close to town, well stocked! Last comment out the door "Can we come back again?".

Heceta Haven is a true legacy cabin, originally built as a one‑room retreat in 1945 and expanded over generations. It still carries the warmth and character of a long‑loved family getaway, offering a sense of history you can feel the moment you walk in.
The home sits at the very end of a quiet dead‑end street in one of Heceta Beach’s original neighborhoods, giving guests rare privacy and a peaceful, tucked‑away atmosphere. There’s no through‑traffic and very little noise — just the sound of the surf and the rustle of the trees.
One of the most special features is the easy beach access. A short wooded trail, just a couple of minutes from the front door, leads directly to the sand. It’s close enough for spontaneous sunset walks, morning coffee strolls, and quick trips back for snacks or forgotten beach gear.
The layout is ideal for families and groups. With two queen bedrooms, two sitting rooms with fold‑flat sofas, and a spacious family room at the back of the house, everyone can spread out comfortably. Multiple gathering spaces make it easy to be together while still having room to unwind.
The family room is a favorite spot, with cozy seating, a peek of the ocean, and direct access to the deck. It’s perfect for movie nights, storm watching, or simply relaxing after a day at the beach.
