Dold pärla i East Glacier Park

Välkommen till vår lilla tillflyktsort! Vi är en lantbruksfamilj med rötter i Montana som går tillbaka över 100 år. År 1920 köpte vår farfar och stor farbror ett stadsblock i östglaciären, medan min farfar arbetade på Jammerbussen för Glaciär National Park. På grund av depression såldes massorna långsamt och allt som lämnades var en, på vilket det här huset ligger.

Vi hoppas att du njuter av din vistelse och fråga oss eventuella frågor. Vi kommer att försöka vårt bästa för att rymma dig.

Östglaciären är en del av glaciärparken och ligger några minuter från stora vandrings- och utomhusaktiviteter och på gångavstånd till East Glacier Lodge. Huset har också bekvämligheter som: satellit-tv, Wi-Fi, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, och kolbbq.

This home is well stocked, clean and comfortable. It is small but fit 5 people very comfortably for a short stay. There is a picnic table in the front yard for dining. We used it for convenient access to the east side of the park

Cozy home space conveniently located for exploring GNP-much better than the west side! Fully equipped with all necessities including bear and bug spray and washer/dryer. Great shower with glorious water pressure after a long day of activity. Hosts were quick to respond to questions.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. You can tell they tried to think of everything so you would be comfortable. The one thing I would like to have had was a fan. It was a wonderful location on the East Side. We liked how close it was to the lodge. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the two shower heads!

Location

Great location to access east side trails. We really enjoyed playing the games that were there, especially Apple to Apple. Only caution is that there is a spiral staircase with wide rails, it made me nervous when the grandchildren were on it.

Clean & comfortable on our preferred side of Glacier

This cabin felt so at home and was well-stocked. Beds abd living area were very comfortable and kitchen and bathroom were clean and nice. East Glacier is small but charming & out of the western fray.

Very nice place. Shower was wonderful! Winding staircase was difficult for the senior citizens. Close to stores & East Glacier Lodge.

A Peaceful, Thoughtful Retreat!

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful retreat! The area was so serene, and the property was incredibly clean. We especially enjoyed the homemade cookies—such a thoughtful and appreciated touch! We'd love to have the recipe! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Great Glacier Stay!

My husband and I went to Glacier National Park for our 10 year wedding anniversary. This place was the perfect location with gas and good food options within walking distance. The cabin was great and met all our needs. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Excellent base for exploring Glacier

An awesome base for the family to explore Glacier Less than ten minutes to Two Medicine A short but unexpectedly spectacular drive to St Mary’s entrance The cabin was very well appointed The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and the laundry was appreciated Easily slept our family of four but would be accommodating if traveling with kids as well as a set of grandparents or another couple A great location if your the independent type that brings your own food and not reliant on the local stores and restaurants ( though they were adequate for our needs!)

Perfect East Glacier Homebase

We had four adults stay while exploring Glacier. It was a perfect location to allow us to explore the whole east side of glacier. In addition, there's food in walking distance (including a nice brick oven pizza truck about 1/2 block away we frequented). We were able to explore Many Glacier, 2 Medicine, and Logan's Pass quite easily.

Perfect!

This house was so cute! It was clean, had plenty of space and everything we needed to cook and relax when not out exploring. Very close to Glacier Lodge and Two Medicine. A bit of a drive to everywhere else, but this is explained in the description. The air/temp was tricky. I think there was air conditioning, but we either couldn't change the temp or didn't do it accurately. It was a warm in the afternoon/evenings. Overall, we loved it! Would happily recommend!

What a cute place! The beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. A cute black bear came to visit the campsite across from the house each morning. Kids loved the loft.

Perfect cottage in the woods

From the welcome cookies to the fully stocked kitchen, great bathroom and cozy bed and pillows this was the perfect place to relax and unwind after long hikes in Glacier. Would highly recommend!

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay, spent most of our time exploring Glacier National Park. The shower was amazing! Only think that would have made the stay better would have been a fan to keep the air moving in the lift bedroom. Also of note on the area I general is the the Glacier Park Trading Company has no fresh meat available despite what their website says. Plan ahead and pick up groceries in Browning or Kalispell.

Beautiful Cabin Home

Aside from location, this home was so comfortable for us. The bedding and beds, blankets and towels all of very good quality, and clean. The couches were comfy, and the loft was so cozy. Better than the photos! Location was great. We were able to take quick drives to Two Medicine where we saw bears several times. Also, drove to Many Glacier two days in a row. One day stopping at St. Mary along the way!

Grandma & Granddaughter Trip

We loved the cabin! It was between the St. Mary and West Glacier Park Entrances so we could go either direction! We loved having enough beds for everyone and we borrowed one of the extra cans of bear spray while hiking so we had two just in case! We did see a black bear but it was from the car which was ok with me! Thank you for making this a trip of a lifetime for this grandma and her 4 granddaughters!

Great vacation rental

The name of this property is exactly what it is. It is a great location about 1 hour to 1 hour 20ish mins to the West Entrance and the St.Mary’s entrance of the park. The two medicine entrance also is only roughly 15-20 minutes. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay as far as towels, pots and pans and dishes even down to paper towels and garbage bags. The owner was very quick to response to questions leading up to our stay and was always so polite and helpful. You will not regret this stay.

Owner/Manager är värd

We are a farming family with roots in Montana that date back over 100 years. Our farm, founded in 1910, is still active today. Dale and Frankie (mom and dad) run the farm while Frankie also is dental hygienist. The three girls, Grace, Callie, and Tessa, also work their own careers and help on the family farm while also managing this property. It is all one big family operation!

Varför värden valde detta boende

In the early 1920s our grandfather/uncle purchased a city block of lots in East Glacier. They were farmers, but also worked in the park on the Jammer busses when farming was tough. Slowly, the great depression hurt financially and the lots were sold one by one. Thankfully, they were able to keep one lot that we were able to obtain. It has been a great piece of family history that we love!
