Convenient, charming location

This main floor apartment is situated in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance of Lake Ontario (end of the block) and the Port Dalhousie downtown area (under a mile). Neighbors were very warm and friendly. We had plenty of pots and pans and plates, four settings for bowls and silverware. Some coffee, tea, filters, spices, and cooking oil, as well as a full-size fridge, electric kettle, and microwave, made cooking convenient. We appreciated being able to sort our waste into compost, recycling, and trash. Wi-Fi worked well. A digital door lock was nice to have. One bed is the firmest I’ve ever slept on besides a traditional futon. The other is a softer memory foam. We really enjoyed our stay at this home and in this neighborhood. Only one towel is provided per guest, but there is a stacked washer/dryer available. The upstairs neighbor had his TV and/or music on nearly constantly (as early as 5:55 am until 11 pm). It’s audible from the main floor, and some soundproofing insulation would make the stay more pleasant.The bathroom was recently updated and attractively done. For those with physical accessibility concerns, be aware that the shower is tiny. This was a cute little gem in an even cuter neighborhood! Thanks for the pleasant accommodations.
