Wonderful authentic log cabin with high ceiling and private driveway. Beautiful easy drive north to Breckenridge or south to amazing shops in Buena Vista and Salida. Found the best Mexican restaurant in FairPlay. Host was super responsive and the hot tub was pristine. Would definitely stay again!

Did a 3 night trip for our anniversary. Had a great time, hot tub, band room, hiking and exploring. Would recommend and would probably stay there again!

What a great spot! The cabin is fantastic and perfect for the hikes we had planned every day! Great communication with the host, was an overall fabulous stay.

Matt is an incredibly prompt & generous host.The welcoming kindness was unprecedented & refreshing, home is clean and generously appointed for cooking, beds & bedding are very comfortable. Complimentary drink was the icing on top.We had another incredible family adventure, Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to stay here again

Took my mom and her husband who has Alzheimer's and found it to be a wonderful and relaxing place definitely recommend it. Will definitely go there again the only reason I gave the host 3 stars is cuz I never had a contact The Host but check in and everything else was very smooth.

Hot tub as great and loved how secluded it was. Very rustic but the amenities were good! Pleasantly surprised how stocked the kitchen was! Instructions from host were very detailed, accurate, and clear. Amazing views and privacy here, a great getaway. My only complaint is there are several things that need fixed / maintenance, but nothing major.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Drivable to mount sherman, so my husband and brother in law were able to complete another great hike. Nice location and wonderful place to stay.

Cool log cabin in a beautiful area. Close to Alma, Fairplay, and Breckenridge. Had a fine time but we would not stay here again. Everything was pretty dirty. Not enough towels and no hand towels or washcloths in the bathrooms. The towels they did provide were very old. No curtains on the windows so zero privacy even though you are in the middle of the woods. Carpet in the master was pretty old, gross and smelled. Hot tub was super cloudy and chemically. Gave us the ick being in it. Property is pretty lived in with tools and boxes laying around outside. Felt like visiting a cabin of someone you know versus a VRBO host property. The property is listed for sale so maybe they are just ready to get rid of it. We had a fun getaway but we would not stay here again.

Excellent host and the cabin was amazing. Rugged on the best way possible. Extremely cozy and hosts were super nice and easy to work with! 10/10 would stay again…perfect weekend stay coming from Denver!!
