Vacker, rymlig stuga belägen vid den natursköna Wisconsin River. Njut av naturen med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet. Fantastisk 180 graders utsikt över vattnet från hemmet och däck. Vårt hem ligger precis ovanför Lake Wisconsin vid Wisconsin River. Vi har en 20 "docka för att fiska och njuta av utsikten eller ta med din båt. Båtlanseringen är bara en halv mil längs vägen. Njut av båtliv längs floden till Lake Wisconsin eller till sandbaröarna med sandstränder för hela dagen kul och avkoppling (sandleksaker tillhandahålls). Det finns en eldstad för nattbränder, grill för grillning och skärmad lusthus för avkoppling.
Inuti hittar du en 2 våningar välvd öppet stort rum med rymlig matsal och fullt kök med 10 fot ö. Knutiga tallväggar, öppen spis i tegelvägg och rustik kabininredning. Det finns 3 sovrum och 2 badrum (ett fullt och ett ¾ bad). Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng med tillgång till badrummet. Det andra sovrummet har en drottning och två enkelsängar med tillgång till badrum. Det tredje loft sovrummet med utsikt över det stora rummet och floden har två enkelsängar. Det finns också en queen-size futon. Sängkläder tillhandahålls. Ta bara din strandhandduk och kom.
Njut av vårt vackra läge vid vattnet eller utforska våra lokala attraktioner. Ligger i närheten av roliga Wisconsin Dells (30 minuter) med vattenparker och attraktioner i världsklass. Njut av en spelutflykt på Ho Chunk Casino (25 minuter). Vandra och njut av det hisnande landskapet i Devil Lake State Park (30 minuter). Besök International Crane Foundation som innehåller alla typer av kranar (25 minuter). Hyr kanoter eller kajaker på T & G Canoe (608-617-0998 wildwiscowaters @ gmail. Com) så tar de dig och tar dig upp floden och du kan paddla tillbaka till stugan. Burhops (cirka 10 minuter bort) hyr pontoner och fiskebåtar vid Wisconsin-sjön (608-592-4802). Utforska MacKenzie naturcentrum med inhemska djurutställningar (15 minuter).

Stugan ligger på gångavstånd från Hookers Restaurant & Bar med bra grill dina egna biffar och levande musik nästan varje helg.

Observera att vi placerar vår brygga när vattennivån är normal (vanligtvis i början av juni). Vi föredrar att hyra lördag till lördag från Memorial Day till Labor Day. Kontakta oss innan du bokar om du är intresserad av olika dagar under denna tidsperiod.

Wonderful Wisconsin Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It has beautiful views of the Wisconsin River and was close to everything we wanted to see or do. There was room for all of us, plenty of towels, the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, and dishes we needed. The cabin's owners were very kind and responsive to any questions we had during our trip. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Cabin on the river

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly. The view of the river from the living room is wonderful. We were disappointed that the back yard and dock were unusable due to heavy rains causing the river to flood the yard but realize this was beyond the control of the home owner. Host communication was very good. We would stay again!

Nice little scenery and cabin. Hosts were very accommodating...couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend if you're in that area. Will book again if life brings us out that way again.

Cozy cottage in wooded Wisconsin

Our stay included a senior couple for the week. The weekend included a son and daughter in law and 4 grandkids. The home was very comfortable and clean. The kids had room to explore. All bedrooms were upstairs except for a futon in the laundry room. The path to the main door to enter was gravel. Spacious family room, kitchen very equipped and plenty of dining space. The owners were easy to reach and very accommodating.

Another great stay

This is our third year in a row staying at the house and it was another wonderful experience. It's quiet, but close enough to get places like Madison and the Dells. The Roku wasn't working but John and Jen were right on it and ordered a new one but when it was delayed, John brought out one a couple of days later and put it in. They are both very helpful and respond very quickly to any needs. The house is amazing, the two refrigerators are a real plus, and the bed is very comfortable. The water level was low so hard to get on the dock as the bridge was steeper for older people:) The river does go up and down but still so serene to be on it and always enjoy our time. Thanks much!!

Great place to stay!

We had 5 adults and 3 kids visit the Dells in July, this was a nice place to return to everyday. There was plenty of space for us. Beds were comfy. We came back and made dinner several nights and kitchen had everything we needed. We used the grill as well. We enjoyed fires in the evening and neighbors were nice. Kids enjoyed playing on the dock and looking for toads. Washer and dryer are older so they do run a little slow, but they got the job done. There is a small park and restaurant nearby. We brought our own but they did have soap and shampoo in each bathroom, plenty of towels (even had some beach towels we were able to use), plenty of extra bedding in closets. There are lots of notes around the house letting you know how to run things (lights, TV, fireplace, etc). Only thing I could see being a problem is all bedrooms are upstairs so if you had someone that doesn't do stairs well, they would have to use the futon in the laundry room to sleep on. (my son slept on it and had no problems). We would def stay again if we return to the area.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Beautiful location. Wonderful windows overlooking the river. Enjoyed the beach about 20 minutes away as well as a boat day. Enjoyed the log cabin feel. The neighbors were very nice and got to enjoy kayaking down the river as well. Thank you for the stay.

Peaceful cabin on the Wisconsin River

This cabin sits right on the Wisconsin River and has beautiful views from the living room’s large windows overlooking the river. There is an island directly across and a larger channel on the other side of the island, which most of the boat traffic uses, so the smaller channel that the cabin is on is quiet and very peaceful. From the cabin, we saw fish, deer, turtles, frogs and toads. The cabin was great base for many activities in the area (Devils Lake, Mirror Lake and water parks).

Exploring The Wisconsin Dells Area

This house was absolutely what we wanted. A nice quiet place to spend the evening while exploring the Wisconsin Dells area during the day. The view from the living area was peaceful and serene. Our son and daughter in law were staying with my husband and me. We had room enough that we were not tripping over each other or getting in each others way. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots pans, mixing bowls...everything you would have in your own home. If we ever decide to come back we will definitely stay in this house.

Perfect place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The "cabin" was so well outfitted with what you'd hope to find from linens to kitchen tools and dishes. Two full sized refrigerators were great as well. This is a very nice rental indeed. It felt as though we were on the water as the large picture windows display the Wisconsin River flowing by as you sit in the comfortable living room. Highly recommend this and want you to know the owners were excellent to work with.

cabin on the river

the cabin it self was great, nice view of the river, the only problem was the wife recently had a knee replaced ,and the property only has stepping stones with gravel in between and it ,making it alittle difficult to walk on,other wise a great place

Cabin was as cute as it could be.

Enjoyed everything about our stay. Cabin was big and had everything you could think of. Plenty of beds, blankets, pillows, towels, I could go on and on. Kitchen was well equiped, again we didn't need anything that wasn't there. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again!!

Second time just as good

Stayed at the River house for second time and just as great if not even better with a few upgrades with outdoor lighting and handrail going up to bedroom. New gas grill as well and will hopefully be back

Outstanding week.

Very quiet. Hosts were great. It’s an older home. Not musty at all. Very clean. One bathroom upstairs between the bedrooms. One downstairs. If you’re not wanting to share a bathroom, it takes a bit of coordination but works great. All the appliances were in great condition. We did get a boat up the river from the lake. A bit tricky to do so, but once we managed the route the next trips went quick and easy. If the river fell another 6” it would likely not be possible in the big pontoon. Overall this is a great spot, great hosts, a great house, and we’d surely stay again!
