Beautiful spot that feels like you’d have to be miles from town but 5 minutes from most places in town. Very private and provides a mountain cottage ambiance.

Nice clean home. Very pet friendly. Secluded but right in the middle of everything! It felt like home! Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the mountains!

We really loved this property!! It’s a quaint, old home sitting on a tucked-away property in the heart of everything. The house was kept very clean.Our dog loved playing around the yard, which is very large. We liked using the firepit, canoeing around the pond, and sitting on the front porch. That is when we weren’t hiking and partaking of all Hendersonville has to offer. The resident white squirrel was quite the fun addition!!

A cozy, nostalgic cabin. The inside was very clean and the large, fenced yard was well maintained. There are plenty of fish to catch in the private pond.

We felt like we were in a little piece of heaven looking out from the front porch to the lake. We came for a week to escape the heat in Charleston and had a lovely time. We brought our 2 dogs who enjoyed romping in the yard. The beds slept well and the bathroom has a nice shower with a seat in it. It is a rustic cabin which was cozy and relaxing. We will come here again.

The house felt as if you were in your own world. The property is peaceful, calming and soothing. So, even with you being in your own hideaway, you are only minutes away from stores and restaurants. Sitting on the porch enjoying the wild life, and the tranquility of the pond was a getaway that will be repeated. My daughter loved the aquatic life that was all around us while swimming. The owner thought of everything you would need on your stay and even provided life jackets, canoe, and a row boat. The communication was immediate and more than a warm welcome. I would definitely recommend this charming home/property.

Loved this little house! Excellent location and beautiful! Older house with real wood paneling and cabinets. The property is huge, completely fenced in, and lush. Loved the porch swing on the back allowing me to watch the lake. Huge walnut tree pregnant with walnuts that brought an albino squirrel for a snack. I highly encourage them to fix the collapsing area of flooring running from the edge of the living room to the shower. Otherwise the property was perfect! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

This is an extraordinary property. Located close to everything you need yet feels so private. It's set on a large pristine property with a beautiful lake at your back door.Beds are very comfortable, A/C worked perfectly. The host is very responsive and thoughtful.It's the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing get-a-way.

This little gem of a cabin is the destination for dialing back stress and excess luxury for solid and rewarding time, alone or with family. Many hours on the porch talking while looking at the lake brings back a simpler time but with all the conveniences you need.

A very nice cabin that was very accurately listed. The porch was a godsend as it rained the entire time we were there. In spite of the weather, we were able to entertain family and all was good.

The outside property is beautiful and the interior of the cabin was spotless. The full kichen has all the amenities (Appliances, pots. pans, dishes etc. and including a washer and dryer. The beds in the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and updated. We loved the view of the lake while sitting on the back porch having breakfast or just some quiet reading time. Our Host Anne was wonderful too. She was immediately available for any questions that we had. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely like to visit the premises again.

This is a nice cabin style home. Very clean and is pet friendly. Bathroom is a little small and the floor is a little creaky but nice and close to town.

As described online, Timberlake is a 1940's cabin, with original wood floors. The newly remodeled bathroom is accurately depicted in our photos. It's not for everyone, but our returning customers, of which there are many, appreciate the cabin's old style attributes, wildlife, private lake and proximity to town.

Very pleased with the well stock kitchen, and the excellent communication from the host.The area was very convenient to all there is to do around Hendersonville, although it is not quite as secluded as the picture reflected it.The cabin was very comfortable, but the floors were very noisy, probably attributed to the age of the building. This location has everything you could need to spend a relaxing week or weekend and is highly recommended.

This cabin was the perfect peaceful getaway yet also conveniently located near all the restaurants and shops in town. We enjoyed utilizing the fireplace as it was quite cold during our stay. Our dog had a blast running all around the fenced property. Anne was a great communicator and wonderful host.
