🔸Your reservation includes the small "private cabin" with shared outdoor space on the 6 acre property
🔹The "small" cabin is 1 bed 1 bath, and 700 sq/ft. Open concept living with pull out couch in the living room, dining, and kitchen area along with a private queen bedroom. Steps are involved to get to the front door, but no steps once inside.
🔴 PROPERTY SUMMARY 🔴
🔸 This property has two cabins, about 40 yards apart. This rental is the SMALL cabin (1bd 1ba) ONLY. The driveway into the property is shared with both cabins. The interior of the small cabin is 100%, the attached deck of the small cabin, and fire pit behind the small cabin is 100% private to the small cabin renter However, all other exterior amenities such as the sauna, grill, games, fire pit by the water, kayaks, paddle boards and more, are shared with the big cabin renter.
🔹This cabin sits elevated and offset from the water about 60 yards, so your view from the cabin's are overlooking the water, bluffs and driftless region.
🔸Our 6 acre property sits on the Bad Axe River, also known as a "Class 1" trout stream. The spacious layout is ideal for families, groups, fishermen, outdoorsman, adventure seekers, or homebodies in need of a getaway
🔹A short walk from the cabin to the river gives you access to swim, fish, and launch the kayaks or tubes. We do not offer transportation back to the property, but there is a public pick up point 2 miles down the river for kayaker's or tubers to get out of the water safely to drive back to the property.
🔸Along the river we have about 100 yards of frontage to fish for trout, take a dip, or just sit in peace as the water flows downstream. In the large grassy area, we have an 8 seat fire pit, and other seating area to soak in the sights and sounds of nature.
🔹In the large grassy area, we have a 3 hole disc golf "course", badminton net with rackets, football, soccer ball, frisbee, corn hole, and ball toss.
🔸Headed back to the cabins, you'll find a shared hang out area on the side of the big cabin where you can relax in our 6 person sauna that can reach 170-185 °F. The sauna will take about 40 min to get to full temperatures.
🔹Next to the sauna is a 2nd fire pit area with string lights. This is also a flat area, ideal for corn hole.
🔸About 20 steps away on the right side of the small cabin is one of the best seating spots on the property. You can lounge in our comfy wicker swing while taking in the view
🔹Inside the cabin, the kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs
🔸Families will have access to a pack n play and kids dinnerware
🔹The small cabin's living area is open and cozy, perfect for conversation, playing the guitar, or watching a movie while cooking
🔸After brewing your complimentary coffee or heating some tea, you can step outside onto the deck overlooking the bluffs and water.
🔹The small cabin does not have access to the washer and dryer on the property.
