Great value! Perfect location!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect getaway for Fall Break! Location was amazing!! The walk to the beach was easy, flat, and surprisingly close. It was also only 1 block from all the shops and restaurants. We never had to drive anywhere. We wish we had paid to heat the pool, even though the cost is pricey. The kids bared the cold, but we would have spent more time in it if it were a little warmer. Live and learn. The house could use some cosmetic touch ups, but it was a great layout. If you spend all your time outside the house exploring Hilton Head, you really aren't bothered. Management company was very friendly and responsive, even processing a last minute decision to rent bikes (highly recommend!). We'd definitely bring our family of 6 again!

Great stay in Hilton Head

Reviewer Comments: The home was clean and as pictured, and the management company was very helpful and sent a welcome packet in advance with all info we would need. No beach towels though so bring your own or you’ll have to buy when you get there.

A very good location

This property has a great location close to the beach and Coligny Plaza. It was nice not to have to drive anywhere if we didn’t choose to. The property management group was excellent at communicating and very willing to make a last-minute change to our stay. Thank you for being accommodating. The building itself is a little dated, but I feel the pictures do a fair job showing you what you are getting. I felt I was more than informed based on the listing. I have really two concerns. The first is that the mattresses should be replaced. The second is that the outdoor furniture could be replaced. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was absolutely perfect. So close to the beach and close to all the shops at the amazing coligne plaza. Also a short distance away from the children’s museum and incredible pirate ship park. The house was very cute however I only have 2 complaints. It was very dirty-they need a new cleaning service. Mold on shower curtains, lots of sand and dust. And the beds were very noisy and uncomfortable. We did not get much sleep during our stay. Overall we had a great trip. I would definitely do the same location but a different house.

Excellent location and outdoor space!

We had a fabulous time staying in this property! The private pool, outdoor space and separate guest house (cottage) were perfect for us and our large family with adult children. Two minute walk to the beach. Two minute walk to Coligy, grocery store and multiple restaurants. The inside of the house was very clean and comfortable. The pool is very large for a private home and the property management company was very responsive. Yes, the outside could benefit from a pressure wash and the outdoor furniture and concrete around the pool aren’t perfect but overall this is a nice property. The only negatives where the lack of kitchen supplies, especially coffee cups and silverware, and lack of clothing storage in the cottage. Also, a shower caddy in the cottage bathroom would be super helpful. These are easy fixes that would make things all bit more enjoyable. It’s not a luxury home by any means but it is certainly comfortable. There is a very high likelihood we will stay at this property again.

Amazing location

We stayed at the property for a friend's wedding in town and it was great to be able to walk to the beach, walk to restaurants and shops, and walk to the wedding. Great pool and hangout in the house as well!

Family vacay

Great location! Walking distance to all the shops/restaurants. Very short distance to ocean. Screened in porch was nice. Pool was great! No pool/beach towels supplied, so bring your own or buy them like we had too.

Great Location but Needs a Facelift!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve previously stayed on this street, so it’s a great location. Close to the beach and shops/restaurants at Coligny. However, this property needs work. When we arrived, the house had not been properly cleaned. We had to buy air fresheners to help with the nasty smell. The pool area has a huge crack in the concrete so beware with kids. Would not recommend!

Easy location

Just can’t beat the convenience of walking to the pool, beach, piggly wiggly, ice cream, cloud 9 THC/CBD, Rollers, big bamboo, The Bank, NYC pizza, and the list goes on. Excellent for keeping teenagers busy, but not out of trouble!

I agree w all positive comments. My negatives: too many tripping hazards outside and in the pool. I understand why they keep renting the property out because it's fantastic...but honestly the whole property needs to be razed (except for the trees) and rebuilt.

Nice location and pool

The pool sells the property and I had a great week with the family. Unfortunately though, the outside pool area/chairs/surrounding property really needs an overhaul. Everything outside was really dirty. I never received any feedback from the property manager when I complained about construction materials/etc. laying out. We found deck screws on the pool deck.

Annual beach vacation

We rent in the north forest beach location yearly and this was a great house for us. My in laws stayed in the seperate pool house while the family with children stayed in the main house. There was no storage for clothing in the guest house aside from a closet and no shelves in the guest shower, but everything else about the property met our needs.

We enjoyed our week but felt there could be improvements. No place for shampoo and soaps in the shower. No dresser in the cottage Outside around house dirty but Pool area. Beautiful. Rugs in house were hard and uncomfortable. The screen porch dirty. Walk to beach and Cologny perfect.

Easy Breezy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a cute little bungalow with easy access to food, shopping and beach. For the house to be old it was super clean. Here is the downside. The house has go to have some updates. However the cost of the house probably reflects that it needs updates and basic supplies to the kitchen that would make it a little more accommodating. The house needs a pressure wash, pool area needs to have a major clean, chairs replaced and decking replaced. All of these things are reflective in previous reviews so the home owner is aware. Again the house was super clean on the inside and the location is excellent and the price was probably reflective of everything previous reviews. the kitchen needs to be stocked a little better and just over all the house needs some updating in kitchen table, and all the outside needs to be cleaned and repaired. The property manager is super helpful. We never made any complaints but for others who might be looking for a more modern up to date rental this might help.

Amazing Location

I cannot emphasize enough how GREAT the location is. There are many good qualities about the property, however, I would rent this house again solely based on the location. You are not only a very short walk to the beach, you are a minute away from restaurants, coffee shops, beach shops, and a grocery store which makes your stay very convenient. We didn't need to use our car at all. We also loved having the pool which we spent a lot of time in, as well as eating dinner at the outside table. (which seemed new and it was great!) I was a little nervous about the stay after reading some comments, but the property was GREAT. The only thing that I agree with in previous comments is that the deck definitely needs to be redone. The boards are uneven and splintering which cause my parents to trip a couple times. Other than that, the inside of the house is extremely cute and well decorated as well as the cottage. We were very comfortable and made many great memories. I would love to book again.

Great stay- would rent again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was hesitant with the reviews describing this property as a small cottage. It was very spacious. The pool was sparkling clean when we arrived and was much bigger than I thought. Both kids and adults enjoyed it very much. We had to call maintenance for a couple minor things but they responded immediately and were great! The people who stayed in the pool house were very happy too as it had a good size bathroom and room. The location is great and it is such an easy walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this property and would rent again!

Family getaway for 4 adults

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great. Everything we wanted was within minutes of this Rental location. I would recommend it to others.However, the exterior of the rental could use some attention. Simple power washing and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way for appearances. Other minor details, such as exposed utilities pipes and cables along the back of the house are unsightly and perhaps easily concealed with a little carpentry work. The private pool was very nice. We enjoyed it a lot. However, the pool lights didn’t work and we never got a response from Sea Turtle for getting this fixed timely.....would have made swimming late evening much more enjoyable for nothing more than a new light bulb. The wood patio area was very worn....again, power spray and paint/stain would help. There was a brand new grill, which was great, but we waited on promised patio furniture until Thursday of our stay....too late to really enjoy it. I liked the place and would give it a 7.5, but it easily could be a 9 with a little more upkeep! Thanks

Location… Location…Location!!

We walked to Coligny every day and to the beach in about 3-4 minutes!! The outdoor shower and pool were great after the beach! The house was cozy and our teenaged son enjoyed his own space in the “pool house”! We had a great time and would definitely go back again! The property is older and could use some repairs like any other property we’ve ever stayed in but, overall it was perfect for the four of us!!

Property managers were VERY helpful and went out of their way to help us with problems,!

Everything was comfortable inside. Outside the furniture is rusted, the boards are popping up, as is the concrete making it dangerous for walking. We love the house but the outside was run down and disappointing.
