This place was very nice. It's located on a hill and away from the busy road. You do have to be very careful with the steep driveway. But the are is very quiet. The pictures matched the listing. Checking in was smooth, no issues.

Katie is a awesome host she replyed to all my messages even late night ones. Highly recommend staying here. We traveled with 10 and all had a place to sleep.

Everything was great! Only issue we had was the ac and heaters not communicating right and not working sometimes.

Hi and thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you had an issue with the AC/ heater. They are new and were installed less than a year ago, but they do all have to be on the same setting: AC or Heat. The instructions are in the welcome book, but I will certainly make sure to send the instructions as a message with future bookings. Thank you for bringing that to our attention and we hope to see you revisit the Sierra Mountain Lodge in the future!

Amazing

One of our best experiences thus far! We have had our fair share of stays in Ruidoso and this is top 3 for sure! Would definitely stay here again. Everything you need from the good pans to hygiene. Modernized, clean and fast responsiveness! A heads up if staying in the winter time you will need 4x4/AWD for the road leading into the property.

Hi Carrie! I’m sorry to hear that parking was a bit of a challenge during your stay, but I’m glad to see you were happy with everything else. Having a cabin in the mountains, parking can be a little tricky, but we’re always working to improve and really appreciate your feedback. We actually just expanded the parking area by removing a large tree stump and are working on getting the space more level. I hope you’ll choose to stay with us again next time you’re in Ruidoso so you can see the improvements! Thanks again for choosing Sierra Blanca Mountain Lodge
