Wonderful place!

We are long term Merlefest attendees and always enjoy the luxury of staying at Slight Askew rental plus the awesome added bonus of a wine tasting. Excellent wine! Tracie is an ideal host.

Great place

We stayed here for a wedding in the area. The home was immaculate and exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive and the winery next door was excellent.

Great place for a Girls Weekend

Such a clean, nice place to stay with easy access to lots of wineries and places to eat. Slightly Askew Winery was on property and such fun. Great wine tasting and source of local information. Thank you.

Great Location, Clean & Beautiful Home!

We went to Elkin, NC to go on a winery tour and this was the perfect place to stay. Very roomy, clean and super cute!!! Tracy was a great host and very communicative!!! We were also given a free wine tasting within walking distance which was a very nice perk. Walt at the winery was great as well!!! We will definitely try to stay here in the future if it’s still an option. Thanks Tracy!!!

Thank you Karen & Tim. We enjoyed the wine tasting next door. The hot tub was fabulous.

Wedding Weekend

This property was absolutely perfect for us. We had 4 couples and everyone really enjoyed staying there. It was super clean, well stocked and has a beautiful view from the family room window. I would definitely book this property again!

Lovely home

We truly enjoyed our stay. This nicely updated home is perfectly located & charmingly peaceful. It’s fully stocked if interested in cooking for a large group, and within walking distance of local restaurants too. Already planning a return trip & stay!

Huge house, great stay!

We had a great stay at the Slightly Askew property! We had four couples stay there and it was perfect. We could walk to Slightly Askew Winery and with the house you get a free wine tasting. We had a really great time and loved everything!

Great house for couples Wine Tasting

Hard to find houses with just king and queen beds, but this one fits the bill. Has an awesome deck with grill and hot tub. Great location in the middle of everything.

Wonderful trip

We had a fantastic time in Yadkin Valley. The Slightly Askew home was warm and inviting. It had all the accommodations of home and more. We can't wait to come back next year.

Wonderful stay at Slightly Askew Wineryhouse

The house and furnishings were very clean and comfortable, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch since it was chilly the nights we were there. Large window in the living room looks out to a lovely view. Great place as our home base for touring the area wineries.

Awesome!!

This is a gorgeous property and is perfect for a group. It is always spotless and the kitchen is well stocked with the basics+. Tracey is so easy to communicate with and goes above and beyond for her guests. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in and I stayed in a LOT! Highly recommended.

The restoration of this home along with that of our Winery helps preserve some of Elkin's unique history.
