Om boendet

Ville bara berätta lite om vårt lilla paradis. Vi började besöka Kulakane för trettio år sedan, med mina föräldrar och två söner. Vi skulle komma varje sommar tills mina föräldrar så småningom köpt 108 och 109 för nästan tjugo år sedan. Min man, Marshall och jag har älskat våra lilla hem sedan dess. Vi försöker spendera 3 - 5 månader här varje år. Den bästa delen är "ohana" eller familjen, du känner dig som en del av på Kulakane. Vänner har återvänt varje år för att göra mycket speciella minnen.

The condo it’s self needs some updating....throw rug needs replacing, the chest of drawers in bedroom need cleaning or replaced (they have a mildew smell and gets on clothes) I brought air fresheners this time however it didn’t help much 😩 your clothes will start stinking . Pillows are flat . Just needs some TLC by the owners !!

Perfect spot!

We stayed in Unit 108 at the Kulakane in Lahaina for 7 nights. You can't beat the view and location. And, all the folks we met were so friendly and welcoming. Many repeat visitors. We made new friends. The property managers were just wonderful! The condo was comfortable, but a bit dated. Perhaps a deep cleaning might be in order. Would stay at the Kulakane again, but would try another unit. Overall, a terrific stay.

60th Birthday in Paradise

Laid back atmosphere which made you feel at home. Loved the main level walk-out to the pool. The Conch ceremony at sundown was especially fun for us. Numerous whales as we watched from our Lanai. I would love to return.

Reviewer Comments: When you haven't been somewhere and try to pick the right spot...there is always a bit of 'worry' about details you forgot to look into....Our spot was PERFECT! The location, staff, condo were all wonderful. The pool and outside area need work, but we believe they are addressing those issues. (Pool is WAY too small for all the visitors who want to use it.). Great service, friendly fact, a great game of 'donating' takes place when one set of visitors leaves - they donate non perishables to the next! All in all, we highly recommend and will be back!

Beach is barely there , but all of Maui has suffered etosion. Amazing Adventure

My unit (108) is fabulous, and up to date, well cared, for and gives me a "home away from home" for two months. I would not trade it for anything. It is amazing to look out in the morning, regardless of the weather and be so close to the ocean. I want to give a particular thank you to the property manager Anthony James - it is obviously difficulty to deal with the issues nature has created. He has done a stellar job of working to ensure that the property is the best it can be - living on site, he appears to be always there - at the pool cleaning by 6:30 to conch shell at 6:30 pm. In case of emergency repairs, he is there. As I have been coming since 1973 - he is the best property manager yet! Debbie Reynolds the rental manager is also wonderful, warm, helpful and constantly ensuring time at the Kulakane is pleasurable. Having traveled a lot over the years for work, I am always happy to return "home" annually to the Kulakane - a very special place.

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Varför värden valde detta boende

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
