We loved the hot tub - the lights and temp. There was plenty of parking. Not too much amenities nearby but great for a secluding relaxing beach vacation.

Amazing

We loved our secluded cottage over looking the ocean. We witnessed a huge rainbow, thunder storms and all the great weather Maui can throw at you. The hot tub was also fantastic

Pinnacle cottage

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! It was the perfect place for our family to stay while vacationing on Maui. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the fact that the cottage was located away from the "tourist" properties and the hustle and bustle of vacation resorts.

Beautyful cottage in a very quiet neighbourhood

This is a very beautyful cottage for 4 people in the Haiku hills with views to the ocean and the Haleakala volcano. You can enjoy the silence on the balcony overlooking the hills while having breakfast. Haiku with local shops is nearby abd offering day to day necessities. The property manager is very professional, responsive, helpful and made the reservation very easy for us. Next to this it was a pleasure to be in touch during our stay. We would love to come back rather earlier than later.

Peaceful

Gorgeous property up a beautiful hill - we were even greeted with a rainbow every day!!! Views spectacular, even better than website pics! No AC, but if you leave and explore the island all day, by the time you get back when the sun is about to set, it’s quite comfortable. Perfect location to start drive to Hana and explore Haleakala and upcountry!! Kitchen extremely well supplied to cook any meal. So peaceful and quiet, exceptionally clean - we are already planning another trip back we loved this place so much!!!

Haiku Heaven

This lovely cottage served my wife and I’s needs perfectly. Excellent privacy,the perfect size for a couple and added peace of mind of a gated property. We loved being up in the hills a bit, very peaceful. Although we explored the island extensively, we would have been just as happy staying close and enjoying the beautiful northern shore of Maui all week. Ho’okipa beach and the best waves on the island are right down the street. Haiku town right up the street, Colleen’s,4 food trucks and the grocery 2 minutes away. Pa’ia town just a short jaunt away. The best HuliHuli chicken is right down the street at AlohaAina barbecue. Hot tub a welcome bonus. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Getaway

Everything about the property was as described and more. We felt it was worth every penny. Clean, new, everything top quality. Views galore! Surfing beach and several cute beaches nearby. We had rain 5 out of 7 days, but the sun was out on the other parts of the Island. If you are planning to spend a lot of time on the western side of the island ( more sun, better for snorkeling, more people) - maybe this house is not the best choice, takes about 1 hr from Makena Beach. Also, this part of the island seem to have more clouds this time of year. Haiku is a tiny town, a bit grungy, but in California kind of way. I'd stay there again, just to gaze at the view.

Aloha Bella. I'm so happy that you enjoyed the cottage. It's a special little place. And you're so right, I have no idea what was happening to our weather. While May is usually dry, that certainly wasn't the case this year. We'd love to have you return when you have plans for another trip to Maui.

Bel endroit un peu à l'écart de la cohue

Point de vue magnifique sur le Pacifique et l'Haleakala. Tout proche de la route d'Hana et à une heure maximum des principaux attraits de l'île. La demeure est sur les flancs du mont Haleakala. Il y a une épicerie dans le village d'Haiku, ainsi que dans celui de Paia, ainsi que les grandes chaînes américaines à Kahului pour trouver ce qu'il faut pour les repas. À côté, le petit village de Paia a de nombreuses boutiques pour un petit souvenir. Principal désagrément: aucune ventilation dans l'unique salle de bain.

I was happy to hear that Mathieu enjoyed his time at the cottage. I was curious about the bathroom comment, as there is a large window in the bathroom that provides great airflow.

Amazing "cottage"

Property is beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and in a lovely, private location... part of a Haiku hillside farm parcel that was subdivided for homes. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay for scenic views

This location is BEAUTIFUL! Overlooking the windward side of the mountain. It was a lovely quite area. The house is clean and very nice. The hot tub was a treat after being out all day. The winds blowing through made the house very comfortable. No need for air conditioning. Highly recommend this house for your Maui stay

Exactly what we expected and where looking for

If you want a quiet getaway this place is perfect, it is clean ,cozy and comfortable, It has great views and the only noise we heard where the birds and the wind. The cottage itself had everything we needed there , small stuff like having beach towels and chairs available for loan in addition to a well equipped kitchen and a strong internet connection . Will hope to stay here again on the next visit. The property management company where also very responsive and helpful and without being asked offered a later checkout as they knew we where in limbo between another later check in. Really nothing to complain about and lot to compliment on, thanks

Beautiful home with amazing views!

When we arrived at the property it was dark. We traveled over 14 hours and were exhausted. The instruction & directions to the house were perfect. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the house was. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed was so comfortable. I couldn't wait to wake up to see the views. I must have looked at the website 1000 times to try to visualize what it would be like. The photo's on the website do not capture the absolute beauty of the sunrise and the views of the mountains and ocean. I even took videos of it; just breathtaking. I woke up each day and watched the sunrise. We had used the outside grill a lot for dinners out of in the patio in the open air. Loved relaxing in the hot tub too. The living room was very comfortable to relax after a busy day of touring the island. The house is super private but close enough to enjoy the Island. We drove the road to Hana, went to the beaches in Kihei & Wailei and enjoyed dinner in Paia at Mama's Fish House (make sure you make reservations way in advance). We even found groceries in Makawao (about a mile from the house). I loved the list of things to do that were provided! Thank you for making our honeymoon the BEST!

Very neat, clean and cozy cottage

We just loved it - though it is a bit on the small side, it had everything we wanted - location, views, wind, cleanliness, separate beds for kids, etc. Only two comments - it has a single bathroom, so our family of four had to negotiate/coordinate its usage. And the main bed is queen, not king. Otherwise, perfect cottage for North shore lovers. Alexander

Really Enjoyed our Stay

Here is a short feedback after our departure from the property in Haiku. We want to say that we really enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle Cottage at Haiku Hill! It`s a very nice Cottage and we can recommend to friends who want to go in this area in the future. We love this area and it's a dream to be there! Say many thanks to the owners of the Cottage and that we felt us like home during our stay there. :-)
