I used to rent a small, inexpensive place in Grand Haven for me & my 3 sons, but now theyâre all over 21 and have girlfriends, so we needed a bigger place and this one was PERFECT!! It was like a mansion compared to those other rentals, and we loved everything about it! It was spotless, decorated beautifully, well furnished, and in a great location.This was a family reunion, really, because the kids are spread across the US. We can rarely align schedules for even a day at holidays, so it was a big deal to get everyone together for a week. Other than spending afternoons at the beach and our usual trip up to Mac Woods Dune Rides, we didnât do anything special this tripâ except enjoy precious family time cooking together, playing games at the dining room table and hanging out in the backyard. (The only thing we lacked was the ability to stream TV for late night movies.) This beautiful house allowed us to make lots of cherished memories, and we look forward to returning! Thereâs a great selection of games, bicycles & beach toys for the entire familyâ even train table & foosball table. We used the grill every evening and all of the âkidsâ took advantage of the adult bikes to ride to & from the beach or around town. They loved the tandem bike, and the front porch provided a scenic âquiet momentâ space.I wonât lie: it was a stretch for me to spend more than usual on our rental, but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! Thank you, Heidi, for a gorgeous place & great experience!
