FABULOUS, CLEAN & Wonderful home som byggdes i slutet av 1800-talet med sin senaste interiöruppdatering som sker konsekvent. Första våningen är ett öppet koncept med utsikt från fram till bak. Det naturliga solskenssystemet består av 25+ fönster och ett takfönster på 4'x 8 '. Området ligger 1 mil norr om Hyde Park, University of Chicago och 1 mil väster om Lake Michigan. In Town for Promat Expo at McCormick Place

What a wonderful way to experience our first time to spend more than a few hours in Chicago! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Had about 3 seasons worth of weather during our time in town, was very interesting. The home is comfy and unique. Shopping centers are very convenient to the property. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay at your property :)))))

Our Chicago Oasis

Our entire stay was “smooth sailing!” for us. Reggie was caring, profesional and responsive to our needs. He made provisions for an early check-in and, when asked, mentioned the possibility of a late checkout as long as the schedule didn’t conflict with the arrival of other guests.The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. We rented a car and had no issues finding parking, regardless of the time. You’ll find some fast food spots (chinese, fry chicken and fish) nearby, as well as a Supermarket, Trader Joe’s, Ross’ Department Store. Even if you’re not renting a car you should be able to get around using Ubber service and/or public transportation to some extent. The property is fabulous, plenty of space to entertain small intimate family gatherings, bridal parties, yoga/gastronomy workshops, small lover’s retreats.The bedrooms are spacious, private, and the beds comfortable.The kitchen is fully decked: with all the pots/pans, utensils, and spices you could possibly need, and then some. Overall, Reggie (and wife) thought about everything! So grateful for the bottled water! Need needle and thread? Just look inside the bathroom cabinet drawer, Do you need hangers for your clothes?Check the walk-in closets, plenty of hangers there. Need an extra blanket? You’re sure to find a couple as well. Did you forget your robe? We have some of those too! More than a “vacation spot” you will feel the warmness of home, my new Chicago home! Thanks for your outstanding hospitality.

All Good in Kenwood

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Quiet location, with nice restaurants in the area and a short distance to the paths along the lake. We were in town for a wedding, and there was ample room for our group. We all slept well, and enjoyed all the unique spaces in the home.

Very nice!

Beautiful remodeled older home in a quiet neighborhood. Not really near any of the moat popular activities/destinations, but Uber was easy. Beautiful architecture in the area. We felt very safe and comfortable here.

Affordable and lovely

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The updated home was clean and featured an eclectic assortment of fun furniture arranged with various nooks for family members to find a place to chat or relax. We all agreed our beds were very comfortable. We were delighted to use the paddles and pickleballs provided by the host, there is a court located a short walk from the house. It was very easy to walk a few minutes and catch a bus uptown, less than 30 minutes total to get right in the heart of the city. We would definitely stay here again, thanks Reggie!

Quick trip to chicago

The house was charming. Clean and cold water in the fridge was much appreciated. Perfect location for our excursions downtown. Host was very responsive to our questions.

Chicago vacation

Stayed 3 nights Quiet neighborhood. Reggie was quick to respond to enquiries Photos accurately represent the interior. Some nice touches with decorations. Was nervous about parking on the street but it worked out great.

Great House, Terrific Location

This home was a great home base for us for a week we spent touring Chicago. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe and it was always easy to find parking right in front of the home. With a Trader Joe's a very short drive away, we did cook quite a bit and found everything we needed an appreciated that there was a nice supply of spices and some foil, plastic bags, etc. for leftovers. There was some construction going on next door, though it never started that early or ran that late, so it did not disturb us. Might be a problem if someone wanted to nap midday, if it is still continuing. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. We had a great stay and would absolutely reserve again the next time we are in the area.

Great Place!

We came into Chicago for the weekend and spent two nights at this property. It's very spacious and quite comfortable. Parking is on the street but we had no trouble finding a spot right out front and then took an Uber everywhere in the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Festival Fun

We stayed 2 nights at this location. We slept soundly before the festival at the beach. Communication with Reggie was phenomenal. Thank you again Reggie for everything. Would stay here again :)

The perfect place to stay

I was traveling wit coworkers for a trade show at McCormick. It was a6 minute or so drive. The house had plenty of parking out front. The check in process was super easy and the host was always reachable. I had a question or two and he always contacted me back immediately. The how was eclectic but in a good way. The kitchen was great with bottled water in the fridge. Such a nice touch because it was so hot out. The bedrooms were nice. Bathrooms nice. Everything was clean. It’s a beautiful house with exposed brick. Reminds me of old brownstones in Brooklyn. There were condiments in the fridge, plenty of dishes and silverware. The dining room table is set for 6. I slept soundly and the air conditioning and thermostat worked perfect. We felt very safe. We actually found that Former President Obamas residence was a few blocks away. There are restaurants and eateries close by. The only two minor items were that there was a park in the other side of the way and people played pickleball super early. I slept through it. My colleague found it noisy. (Host has no control over that). The second was that the house next door started some renovations. Again, temporary and out of the hosts control. I would 10/10 stay there again.

Beautiful home away from home

The home was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Communication was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish.

The home was had everything that we were looking for, great location, cleanliness, comfort and overall feel of home. The host was very nice, If we ever needed anything the host was spot on. I would definitely recommend this location. I will be staying here again.

Home away from home

The property is beautiful and spacious. The pics on the site were identical. The small patio was especially a tie breaker for me and my family. It was equipped with patio furniture and grills. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and seasoning allowing us to prepare dishes for the family reunion. The home had more than enough towels in both bathrooms and the 1/2 bathroom was a beauty.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Reggie is an awesome host and the property is much more beautiful than the pics. Check in process was easy and he even accommodated a late check out. Decor was lovely house was very clean and spacious. Will def be staying again!
