Fall Fishing

Really enjoyed our stay. The property was fantastic…right on the shores of Sandy Pond. The owner lives next door…such nice people. We definitely would stay again!

Wonderfully relaxing

We had a fabulous time at the Lake House. Perfect location to stay while in town for a family wedding! Will plan another trip for relaxation in future.

Great home, great location!

The house was great, spacious, right on the water with beautiful views from the deck and inside the home. About ten minutes from down town with restaurants and coffee. Would recommend!

Simply perfect!

We loved our stay, so welcoming and cozy. We had a group of 5 of us and it was a perfect fit for our crew. Close to many fishing spots. And such an amazing view when the sun is setting! The owners are great and so helpful. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the future!

Fabulous time at the lake

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the lake house. Leslie and Joe were wonderful tenants and the property is maintained beautifully. I would encourage anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet and a little fishing to check this place out.

Lovely stay

My elderly parents stayed at the property for a second time and had a lovely experience. Leslie is friendly, helpful and made check-in easy. The house is well equipped, clean, light with an amazing view of the pond from the inside and a lovely deck. Internet is fast and accessible. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great view

The view sitting on the deck is beautiful. The house was very nice and up kept. Close to fishing and sightseeing. Could ask for nicer owners. We’ll be back.

Nice place

We had a wonderfull stay here. Leslie and Joe were very nice. The lake house was very nice. We are considering going again next year. The only down fall was the pond was low and the cut to the lake was vertually closed due to all the sand that washed in.

I enjoyed every minute

Leslie and her husband are awesome, the house is clean and it has a very good location close to the southwick beach, the salmon river falls, and many apple farms. I will definitely come back next year.

House worked great for us as fisherman

Leslie was prompt to greet us and review everything. She provided suggestions for food and activities. We had no issues with anything with the house. Will plan to stay again next time!

Boaters paradise

Beautiful cottage, very well kept and clean. Everything we needed for the weekend. Leslie was super helpful in explaining where to launch the boat and how to navigate the pond. There is a public launch just a few doors down. Highly recommend.

Sandy Pond Escape

The cottage was absolutely wonderful. It was so clean and the kitchen had everything you need. The view of the pond from inside was perfect. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire on our last evening. Joe and Leslie have put a lot of thought and time into making this so comfortable for guest. We are planning on returning.

Great place

We stayed for 4 nights. Absolutely loved it. Great place over all. Very clean.quite location. Right on the water. Due to the flooding they did not have the docks in water. BUT owners made it work so I was able to store my boat out front. 10/10 in my book. Owners were so nice.

Salmon Fishing

This lake house was a great place to stay. It had a very well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook our meals and 3 comfortable beds. It was a short distance to our fishing spot on the Salmon River. Our host Leslie was wonderful and took great steps to make our stay enjoyable. She lives right next door and was available should we have had any questions. I would highly recommend Leslie’s lake house when in this area, you won’t be disappointed.

Artist, Grandmother, and avid gardner. Sandy Pond is where I vacationed as a child and will forever be home of my fondest memories. We built our home in 1988, and have enjoyed living where people vacation in all seasons. We built the Lakehouse in 1999 for a vacation rental to assist with increasing taxes.

My heart is at Sandy Pond. This house has a beautiful setting that I have surrounded with edible landscaping. The waterfront is deeper than most in the bay, less drifting seaweed/dead fish.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The home was built for open concept, bright natural light, and convince. The 4 mile protected bay is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming. Across the bay is a beautiful boaters beach that runs for 17miles. Walking distance there are restaurants, bars, soft ice-cream, scenic State Park beach. Biking on the dirt roads, swimming and floating with the kids during the day to campfires and fishing at sunset.
