The property is amazing with Million dollar views!

The owners are genuine great people that were very helpful with all questions and needs. The house is spacious, clean, complete with all amenities and has some of the best views of anywhere on the lake. The proximity to Lee's Ford Marina, the lake, parks and other is perfect. I could not be more happy with our family experience and look forward to returning to this property many more times in the future. Did I mention the view from that massive covered patio overlooking the lake and the sunsets...heaven!

Great view of lake

The property had a wonderful lake view with a covered deck. We spent most of the time outside so really enjoyed the property’s amenities outside. Great location to the Marina. Kitchen contents adequate
. But very disordered. It would also be nice to have a mirror in each bedroom, reducing the need for people to be in the bathrooms.

great retreat

the property and views were amazing. the bugs on the decks were very bad and the spider webs were thick. If I could change one thing it would be to screen in at least one sitting are outside and keep the spider webs knocked down. oh and maybe some better cutlery. still an amazing vacation and will more that likely stay again.

Great rental

The location and view are great! It's close to town, but also close the the marina. My only suggestion is the have the back deck cleaned regularly and sprayed for bugs/insects. Other than that, really enjoyed the place.

BREATHTAKING*****

The property was spotless, well maintained and beautiful. Very inviting atmosphere. But the view, the VIEW was breathtaking. We had plans before arriving to enjoy the lake while there, but the property & the VIEW kept us on site more than planned because being there was so enjoyable. Can’t wait to take the family next time...or not. Really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my husband alone an awful too. What little time interacting with the owners was very pleasant and informative also. 5 stars doesn’t do this justice. Thank you so much!!

Amazing porch

The house was clean with plenty of space and comfortable furniture. The highlight was definitely the amazing view you get from being high up on the cliff. Morning and night we got to see the best of the lake. Even when it rained just watching the rain move through the mountains towards us was something else!

Above and Beyond

View is wonderful. Property manager and maintenance staff went above and beyond when we had problems with our vehicle during our stay. Totally Awesome!!

House with a view

House had an amazing view, very clean and the A/C works great (we froze in the basement) The steps to get to the basement were tough, they are very deep and narrow, if you have bad knees plan to stay in the main floor bedroom. And it's a bit outdated decor wise but the view made of for that. Very nice place overall.

Spectacular view, but...

First the good. The view of the lake from the covered porch of this house was spectacular and the location very convenient to Lee's Ford Marina, Fishing Creek, and Pulaski County Campgrounds. Kitchen appliances were updated stainless and owners are adding what looks to be a major addition to the house. The house was older but seemed very clean (other than a few walls that were smeared and needed repainted) and, although we didn't really "cook", the kitchen seemed to be adequately furnished and ample towels. The response time was excellent in answering questions and the owners were very accommodating with early check in. Now the not so good. For the price, I've had much better. The house appeared to be at least 25-30 years old and, other than the kitchen appliances, little to no updating looked to have been done. Everything was very dated, 80's and 90's, (flooring, lighting, bathrooms, décor, etc.) and way too much furniture was crammed into every corner and decorated everywhere with baskets and baskets stacked on baskets.The furniture was in good condition but looked very dated as well. two of the beds were comfortable, the third needed replacing. Some linens were fine, one very thin. There was a hot tub on the lower patio, perfect for rainy days but, unfortunately, it was not working (to be fair, it was not advertised as having a hot tub). Also, the porch with the lovely view was not screened nor did it have a ceiling fan and mosquitoes prohibited much enjoyment of that in the evening. Hopefully when the addition is finished the owners will update the remaining house. If so, this would be a great place. If not, sorry but, even with the view, I'd skip next time, especially for the price.
