The room is a bit run down and the hotel as well. A bit confusing getting around but we got what we wanted. Affordable weekend to chill!

VRBO was fine. Nice and easy access to beach and easy check-in and out Hotel could use some work. Crosswalk being closed more than the time we were told was inconvenient, there were never any lounge chairs to be able to sit by the pool, and hot tub was cold.

We had a beautiful ocean view. Pools were fabulous. Staff were super nice. No complaints. We had a great time. Will definitely be back

Couldn't ask for a better place to spend the week. Room had an amazing view of the ocean and pool area. Easy walk to beach, comfortable bed and pillows, and best of all check in was simple and easy, just walk to room and enter code no waiting in line ! Room is nice size and kitchen worked perfectly. The pools are a plus nice hot tubs and large indoor pool. Outdoor pool is heated so it was nice to swim outside in March! Would recommend!

I don't know how this property had a 9 out of 10 rating. The overall property, The Landmark Resort is old and run down. The unit itself needed significant updating.. The shower surround was loose around the tub and there was obvious black mold showing in the gap between the tub and the surround. The refrigerator was clean on the inside but the outside had rust spots in many places. The bed was comfortable. This property is located in the very old section of Myrtle Beach and the surrounding neighborhood is not one I would walk in after dark. Compared to other units I have stayed in in the greater Myrtle Beach area, this was by far the worst. I would never stay in this unit again. The host was responsive to my messages prior to my stay and made check-in an easy process. They must be paying other people who have stayed there to give inflated reviews. We stayed at another property in the Myrtle Beach area on this same trip and it was truly a 9 out of 10.

The check in was quick. The hosts always answered our questions very quickly! The view was amazing. The size of the room was perfect. The negatives about our stay include:1) A new mattress would help your guests sleep more comfortably. We felt the springs of the mattress. We needed to buy a 150.00 mattress topper in order to sleep at night. We did let the hosts know this. 2) The rug had noticeable stains on it. 3) The microwave was visibly broken and the refrigerator needed to be replaced. I am being honest. You asked us. We have a service dog and you allowed her to stay. We appreciated that. Sincerely, Phil and Lori

The onsite Starbucks and the lady running it downstairs was hands down the best. Other than that, this property,#326,wasn't cleaned properly upon arrival. I think it was possibly wiped down, but it wasn't up to par. This bothered me, especially because the instructions says not to strip the bed. We slept on our own fitted sheet. I would bet my savings that because of this, the bedding won't be washed for the next renters.The curtains have nasty stain on it. The bathtub needs to be repaired and thorough cleaned. We ended up purchasing a mat for the bottom and shower scrub, just to feel comfortable stepping in. It's time to update the kitchen ware. The property team actually brought a new pot to the suite because the other was wobbly and the handle was faulty about to break. The aesthetics of the refrigerator is very off putting, as it is rusted. Once a thorough cleaning to remove the thick layer of grit and a few updates are done. The place may be better. The hall had a weird mildewy smell. After having to reach out almost every single time, Including the times they said they would call back and didn't, the property consultants did offer different accomodations, but at an upgraded cost. This was done after we'd already went out and purchased things to make or accomodations acceptable. We declined their offer. We decided that we would never book at the Landmark again! Suite #326, please upgrade that room. The views are exceptional! The living standards are less than stellar.
