We had a great week at this wonderful property. AdvantStay was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were well taken care of. Our only complaint was the pool was not heated so our kids could not take advantage of the beautiful pool. Overall our large group was very happy. Beautiful house, stunning views and a short walk to the magnificent ocean.

Cleaning could have been a tad better, some of the appliances needed repairs, and the overall cost was high, but the house/property/location were outstanding. Overall, we were very satisfied

The location is wonderful. Not super busy or crowded when we were there. Close to the places we needed to go. Loved all the bike paths. Compared to Isle of Palms, which we love, it was pricey.

We have stayed with AvantStay in the past and have been incredibly pleased with the stay. I have nothing bad to say about AvantStay, the check-in/check-out process, communication or anything, but the 11 Singleton property in particular is really a black eye on their reputation compared to the other rental properties we have seen. This property has mold all over the basement ceiling area, the house had a musty/moldy smell, and the overall cleanliness of the house was poor. We had to clean the windows to even enjoy the ocean view. The showers were not clean, and seemed dated. The exterior door latches were rusted to the point of poor function. Several of the furniture knobs were missing and towel hangers were missing from the walls. The boardwalk down to the beach was in very poor condition with loose boards and partial railing with rusty nails/screws everywhere. The ice machine was not working well in the fridge and the main microwave didn't work. We will likely be back to stay at a house through AvantStay, but it will not be 11 Singleton again. We made the best of our trip, but the house was very disappointing for the price compared to others we have stayed in on this same road.

The view of the beach from the house made up for the rain and wind. The management company was very quick to respond to any questions we had and they provided us with additional kitchen towels and flatware. Unfortunately we did not realize that the pool could not be heated even though it was in the vrbo written description of the house. Our fault. We were very grateful for the elevator as our group ranged in age from 61 to 75. This house would be great for a multigenerational family as there is a bedroom and bath on the first floor. Thanks to the management company for everything. Colleen

1. Safety Hazards: None of bathrooms, kitchen nor laundry room have ground fault electric receptacles. Not up to code. Some loose steps on beach boardwalk. No grab bars in shower stalls.2. Some non guest friendly features: All closet shelves - height from floor to top of shelf is 7'. From floor to hanger rod -6'8". Out of reach for many. Third floor master bedroom closet door scrapes floor - can't open/close Beach shower head 7" from floor to head. On/off shower control handle 5' from floor to handle. No lower water faucet to just wash sand offfeet/shoes. Needs double faucet with short hose to rinse off sand at low lever. Standng water/mold on floor at beach shower location. No forewarning that elevator is shut off after check in until check out, resulting in 92 and 89 year olds walking up three levels of stairs during stay. No instructions for high tech thermostats. Requires trial and error to learn to adjust temperature. Third floor temperature was 65 when checked in.Above are thngs that need attention.. Otherwise the house was great. Had everything we needed and was very confortable for our family.
