Summer check

We plan to rent the property for the month of July so went to check it out. A problem with the kitchen but Peter assured us it would be taken care of. He suggested fun things to do with our granddaughters in July. They are coming from FL and excited to visit the mountains with us.Overall, we all are looking forward to our summer stay!

Getting out of the heat

Just about everything was great; however, we could not get connected to the Wi-fi. Also, could not find a book telling us the procedures for the checking out procedure ( what to do with the sheets, laundry, etc.) A minor inconvenience was the toilet in the MB lacked enough pressure that we nearly clogged it several times under a normal usage. These are the reasons we did not give a perfect 5 score. However, we would definitely recommend your property, and be happy to return.

Family birthday weekend

Booked this house to escape the Phoenix heat. Loved the fenced yard for our dogs and the large deck for relaxing. Just be prepared to bring your own shampoo and body wash as the bathrooms were missing these items.

Family Friendly

This was great for our kids and us. Nice common room to hang out, kid friendly toys, games and books. Kitchen had what we needed to cook. Very nice neighborhood to walk in and close to a trailhead for some good hiking.

Great Winter getaway

My family and I had a great mini vacation up in Show Low this week. The house is in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. We used the walking trail within the community and the big backyard was perfect for our medium sized dog. It even snowed so she had her first experience with that in the yard. We cooked two dinners and the kitchen had everything we needed to do so (except garlic which we left as an addition to the spice rack). We hope to come up again over the summer.

Taking away the pressure

I loved it so did my kids the back yard was to die for. Will stay in that exact cabin, again probably in February or spring. Enjoyed it so much I didn’t go with the kids when they left.

Such a cute cabin

Our check in process was very easy and the host was very responsive. The property was clean, well maintained and so cutely decorated. Furnishings were comfortable and the outside area was beautiful and also well maintained. The backyard was fenced in and perfect for pets and small children to roam. My family had a great time here and will definitely book it again when we return to the area!!

Great getaway with a dog

The house was clean, cozy and had a great layout. The master is on the other side of the house from the guest rooms and the living room is very large with a fireplace. We've never travelled with our medium size dog and the house was perfect for her. The deck was gated in addition to the large fenced in yard full of trees for her to get lost in. Overall it was a good stay.

Property not as advertised

The first thing we saw was the dirty front deck with cobwebs and pine needles. After cleaning the deck with an old broom that was there, I had to clean the back deck which was worse. The broken rail that was mentioned by the owner was not the only damage to the back deck. We placed a chair in front of the broken rail to prevent our dog from falling off the deck. There was an open crawl space under the house. The door for the crawl space was laying on the ground. We were concerned that there were animals living under the house and deck. There were also numerous cobwebs inside the house. The photos on the Vrbo website did not accurately depict the current condition of the property.

Wonderful home in the woods

Lovely home surrounded with pines so it feels very private. Very well supplied with kitchen accessories, spices, utensils, lots of linens and towels, and comfortable furniture. Quiet, large backyard with large back deck and front porch. Owner very responsive and helpful. We have stayed here before and love the property.

Perfect Peaceful Get Away

The VRBO photos don't do justice to this lovely home. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet. The forested back yard is huge and perfect for our two dogs. A wonderful dog park is located just a few minutes away. The house is comfortable and cozy. We can't wait to come back!

We are a Chandler couple with 2 kids. We have owned this cabin for 5 years and use it as much as we can, which gets difficult with school age children. So we decided to share it with others.

Very spacious cabin with everything that you may need for weekend or a week stay. Almost 1/2 acre lot with large fenced yard, Cul-de-sac location with virtually no traffic is a parent/children paradise. 1 minute walk to the playground (on the opposite Cul-de-sac). Outside dining by the fire pit! Coffee on the front porch on rocking chairs or on the swing in the back!
