Huset, som bekvämt sover 8 personer, är en idealisk bas för stora familjer, vänner som letar efter en lyxpaus eller ett speciellt tillfälle. Den har en stor lounge med en vedspis, ett solrum med tillgång till uteplatsen på övervåningen och utsidan däck i den stora 1 tunnland trädgården och dammområdet med grill och utemöbler. This is an amazing property. Spacious, comfortable, beautiful decor and gardens and a fabulous location. Easy access to Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, and close to some wonderful walks. The owners were very helpful and responsive to all our questions. Enjoyed walking to the excellent cafe at the nearby Deanston distillery. We had a fabulous week at Burnside House!

Lovely, welll-appointed famiy self-catering home in a quiet and peaceful area.

Spacious yet cosy. Excellent choice of sitting areas. Lovely and quiet area. Well stocked kitchen with every kitchen item you could want, including a dishwasher when you have a large number of people. Close to Stirling and Callendar, but also lovely local walks.

Ein schöner Urlaub in ruhiger Lage!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Burnside House! Die Begrüßung war herzlich und wir haben auch schon die ersten Leckereien im Kühlschrank vorgefunden. Die Sauberkeit im Haus war perfekt. Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt und wir haben für das nächste Jahr erneut gebucht. Bis zum nächsten Jahr liebe Familie McKenzie!

Family Vacation to Scotland

The house was magnificent and the grounds and gardens were beautiful. So much more than we expected. If you are visiting Scotland this is the perfect location. Brenda, the home owner was so nice and went above and beyond.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location

Our stay was brilliant. The location enabled our first time visitors to Scotland to explore many of the sights they had heard of for many years. Storm Eowyn tried to disrupt our stay but Jimmy and Brenda quickly supplied a generator and made sure we had power when it went off. Would definitely go back again.

Great house, great stay.

Absolutely wonderful experience! My family and I traveled from Washington State and were thrilled to stay at this incredible property in Scotland. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel welcomed, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. They truly thought of everything, and the property was well equipped with all the amenities we could need and more. The location was perfect—centrally located, yet private and peaceful, giving us a sanctuary to unwind after long days of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better base to see the sights. The comfort and beauty of the house made it feel like our own Scottish home away from home, and we felt relaxed and recharged every time we returned. A heartfelt thanks to our hosts for making this such a memorable trip. We can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic Break at Doune

We stayed as a family at Brenda and Jimmys house . All I can say is Whoooo what a place , it was absolutely first class . So much to do for the kids and the adults in the games room . House was so well equipped and the space was unbelievable. So nice to revive such a lovely welcome pack . Can’t reckoned it highly enough

Wonderful stay in beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious and beautiful and has everything you could ever ask for and more. The youngsters enjoyed the gaming room very much. The location is perfect to visit the most popular places in Scotland. Even the weather was good (not too hot or cold), only rain at night or when we were inside and even a few sunny days. The communication with Brenda and Jim was also very nice : they asked if everything was in order, they were nearby if necessary but they respected our privacy also. A house to be recommended.

A perfect holiday home

Unfortunately my wife had an accident a few days before departure so we could not travel and only my daughter, her children and her life partner had the pleasure to stay at Burnside House. At least we could see many photos from the place and the beautiful surroundings. My family really enjoyed their stay there and said in the house everything hast been nicely prepared. Of course we try another attempt in the future in order to get to Burnside House as soon as possible!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

We had an amazing time in Scotland and loved this property. The amount of space for our party of 6 was perfect and there are so many things to do. The hosts had great communication and the little touches in the home made us feel welcome. The hosts provide so many wonderful amenities that we felt pampered. We will be sure to return. Perfect house for family vacation

The house was so spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a full week’s vacation. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and the area is peaceful and stunning with lots to do in the surrounding area. We hope to return another time ! Highly recommended by us !

Great place for every day trips in Scotland

The house is very nice and it has more then enough space for 8 people. Cause of it's location in Stirling district it's an ideal "base" for trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands or Speyside. The local distillery of Deanston is just a 5 minutes walk away.

Big house

Pictures don’t do the house justice. It was much bigger than expected. Plenty of room for everyone which also allowed for privacy. There was nothing that I wanted or needed that wasn’t available. Loved it for precious family time. Host was very good and available if needed.
