Huset, som bekvämt sover 8 personer, är en idealisk bas för stora familjer, vänner som letar efter en lyxpaus eller ett speciellt tillfälle. Den har en stor lounge med en vedspis, ett solrum med tillgång till uteplatsen på övervåningen och utsidan däck i den stora 1 tunnland trädgården och dammområdet med grill och utemöbler. Tre av sovrummen har eget badrum medan det fjärde använder det stora badrummet på nedervåningen. Det stora matsalen / köket (separat matsal med 8 platser) har stort fristående kyl / frys och två dubbla ugnar. Huset har också ett stort rum i bottenvåningen som inkluderar: biljardbord, bordtennis, Wii-konsol, Play station 3-konsol samt 42- och 50-tums-tv. Det finns gott om parkering för fyra fordon och ett tvåbilsgarage.

Lovely, welll-appointed famiy self-catering home in a quiet and peaceful area.

Spacious yet cosy. Excellent choice of sitting areas. Lovely and quiet area. Well stocked kitchen with every kitchen item you could want, including a dishwasher when you have a large number of people. Close to Stirling and Callendar, but also lovely local walks.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location

Our stay was brilliant. The location enabled our first time visitors to Scotland to explore many of the sights they had heard of for many years. Storm Eowyn tried to disrupt our stay but Jimmy and Brenda quickly supplied a generator and made sure we had power when it went off. Would definitely go back again.

Perfect house for family vacation

The house was so spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a full week’s vacation. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and the area is peaceful and stunning with lots to do in the surrounding area. We hope to return another time ! Highly recommended by us !

Even booking with extremely short notice, the property had everything and more a family could want. The finishing touches were luxurious but made you feel at home. Thank you to such fantastic hosts for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend this property to other families!

We had an amazing time in Scotland and loved this property. The amount of space for our party of 6 was perfect and there are so many things to do. The hosts had great communication and the little touches in the home made us feel welcome. The hosts provide so many wonderful amenities that we felt pampered. We will be sure to return. Beautiful home with all the comforts of home

My friends and family stayed in this beautiful 4 bedroom home. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, or more comfortable home for our fairly large group. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Beautiful scenery and a short walk for food or a slightly longer walk to the town. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burnside and our visit to Scotland. The house was perfect for six adults. It was fully stocked with everything you’d need and was central enough to visit multiple cities/castles/sites during our week there. Would definitely recommend.

Huge house space

Perfect for the family. Plenty of rooms to relax, have your own space and the games room which came as a play area was perfect for the little ones, and adults. Lovely location for our family surround by some beauty spots of Scotland. Would recommend this place to those with small humans who have the option of their own space away from the kids chaos.

Fantastic Break at Doune

We stayed as a family at Brenda and Jimmys house . All I can say is Whoooo what a place , it was absolutely first class . So much to do for the kids and the adults in the games room . House was so well equipped and the space was unbelievable. So nice to revive such a lovely welcome pack . Can’t reckoned it highly enough

Wonderful stay in beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious and beautiful and has everything you could ever ask for and more. The youngsters enjoyed the gaming room very much. The location is perfect to visit the most popular places in Scotland. Even the weather was good (not too hot or cold), only rain at night or when we were inside and even a few sunny days. The communication with Brenda and Jim was also very nice : they asked if everything was in order, they were nearby if necessary but they respected our privacy also. A house to be recommended.

Radical Home!

It was our first time in Scotland and the house was so welcoming we were tempted to cancel sight seeing just to enjoy the comfort and game room! The location was ideal! We did 5 day trips and different directions and saw so much of the country thanks to the central location. Hosts were perfectly non-intrusive but available for needs and everyone loved having a dedicated bedroom AND bathroom! Such a radical home, I’d come back in a heart beat!!

A perfect holiday home

Unfortunately my wife had an accident a few days before departure so we could not travel and only my daughter, her children and her life partner had the pleasure to stay at Burnside House. At least we could see many photos from the place and the beautiful surroundings. My family really enjoyed their stay there and said in the house everything hast been nicely prepared. Of course we try another attempt in the future in order to get to Burnside House as soon as possible!
