*Important note - Douglas Lake is drawn down from mid- September to late April by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The dock will not be usable and access to the water from the resort area is extremely limited during this period. Please contact us for current lake conditions. You may also check current and historical lake levels at douglaslake@info.

We are fairly recent empty nesters from Northwest Ohio. As our two children were growing up, we vacationed at Douglas Lake several times making some of our best family memories. My favorite photo of our children is one of them jumping off the deck, hand-in-hand, at sunset. (If you have kids, make them do it!) When we saw this location, we knew this would be a place for our family to gather for years to come. We've named the cabin "On The Rocks"- a nod to its unique foundation nestled on a rock, and a playful wink to Dave's fondness of bourbon... We hope that "On The Rocks" will be as special to you as it is to us.
