Welcome to Whispering Pines Retreat—a secluded and luxurious 3-bedroom cabin set on 300 acres of rolling East Texas forest just outside Jacksonville. Fully remodeled in 2024, this modern-meets-rustic hideaway is perfect for romantic escapes, family gatherings, or a peaceful weekend with friends. Just 2–3 hours from Dallas, Houston, or Austin, it’s close enough for convenience yet far enough for true privacy.
Why Guests Love It:
Start your morning with fresh coffee on the porch, watching the sunrise over the pines. Spend your day fishing for bass at the private 6-acre pond, paddling in the canoe or kayak, or hiking scenic trails that wind through the property. As the sun sets, unwind in the 6-person hot tub under a sky filled with stars, then gather around the firepit for s’mores (kits provided).

• Spacious loft with two twin beds via spiral staircase
