Wonderful quiet place out in the country. Needs better exterior lighting and wifi. Cell coverage isn’t very good. Over all very comfortable

Arrived at the property and it had not been cleaned. Had to contact the host . She sent her daughter to change beds and clean a bit. Still no towels, had to call again. It was a challenge. Microwave was about 50 years old. We had to coax it to work. It was fun meeting and petting all the animals. All were very friendly! If you don’t mind the barn smell it could be interesting. But we won’t go back!!!

Absolutely loved my stay. If you’re an animal lover who is looking to check out of the daily grind, connect with nature, all while staying at the most unique and cozy place ever….then this. Is. It. The owner was so kind and gracious, the horses were amazing, the ponies outside the kitchen window were nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I will be coming back!!!!! Already looking at dates for the fall

Access: Go through the large sliding barn door. The door to the apartment is straight ahead. Highlights of the stay: Two horses "knocked" on the kitchen window. We opened the window and scratched them for a little while. Also, my wife enjoyed going around in the morning with the person caring for the horses. The description states that this is a working horse farm so if you're not willing to hear noise starting around 6:30am then wear ear plugs to bed. There is a short time in the morning that water is run for the horses and this lowers the shower water pressure. This is temporary and was not an issue, just something to be aware of. Otherwise, the shower water pressure is very good and the shower is huge! We didn't expect the beds to be comfortable, but we didn't wake up sore and slept well...meaning the beds surprised us.The outside sitting area had a lovely "horses in the sunset" view. We enjoyed eating/working at the table.Other notes: one of the cats will come in just about every time you open the door. We found that all you need to do is go out the door and call the cat and she will run right back out. You do not need to pick it up or try to force it out.There is a rooster with a few hens. An older live stock guardian dog lives there so you will hear him barking from time to time. Typically, you're not supposed to pet this type of working dog on a farm, but he was friendly after he knew we were okay.Starlink WIFI worked ok. No TV.We enjoyed our stay.

This without question was the most unique place I have ever stayed. My trip had a tight timeline that did not allow me to take full advantage of the property. However I can assure future guest but if you're looking for something out of the ordinary this property is it. It may not be suitable for everyone particularly those who aren't familiar with what a real working barn entails. But if you want something outside the norm this is it. Pictures do not do it justice. While we only communicated through text I also found the host to be very friendly and accommodating.
