I was born and raised in the Netherlands and first came to Ontario as an exchange student in the late 1980s. I quickly fell in love with Canadaâand with a Canadian!âand decided to make Elora my home. By profession, Iâm a midwife, and Iâve always enjoyed welcoming people and helping them feel at ease. Hosting gives me the chance to share a little of the calm and beauty that drew me here in the first place. I take pride in creating a warm, relaxing space for guests to recharge and feel at home.
