Whether you`re here with friends or family, it`s the kind of space that makes the whole trip more memorable. Located in South Austin â close to the action, but with a vibe all its own.

Desert Disco is a one-of-a-kind Austin escape where mid-century modern style meets bold color and cowboy charm. From curated design to playful touches, every room brings something a little extra.
The main living area is open and full of character, centered around a double-sided fireplace that connects the living room and dining room â perfect for cozy hangs and shared meals. The fully stocked kitchen flows right into the dining space, making it easy to cook, gather, and stay connected.
Youâll find 4 uniquely styled bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, giving everyone space to spread out and recharge.
Thereâs even a cowboy hat wall (yes, really) complete with a glowing Howdy neon sign and record player â perfect for a group photo or two.
Outside, the large gated backyard features a dining table, lounge seating, and plenty of room to relax or enjoy the Austin weather. Thereâs also a 2-car garage, plus driveway and street parking if needed.
Whether youâre relaxing by the fire, sipping coffee under the sun, or headed out to explore SoCo and Zilker, Desert Disco brings the style, space, and Austin energy for an unforgettable stay.
Guests have access to the entire home.
We value your privacy and will not disturb you during your stay. However, we remain available and responsive should you require any assistance or have questions. Your comfort is our priority.
Desert Disco is located in East Riverside, a vibrant and growing pocket of Austin just minutes from downtown, South Congress, and Zilker Park. Itâs the perfect blend of residential calm and easy access to the cityâs best spots.
Youâre close to the Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk for morning walks, and just a short drive from SoCoâs boutiques, Rainey Street nightlife, and East Side dining. Local gems like Buzz Mill and Baby Aâs are nearby, and the airport or COTA are both under 15 minutes away.
Whether you`re in town for a festival, a foodie weekend, or just to explore Austinâs energy, youâll have the convenience of location without the noise of downtown.
Easily get around by car, bike, ride share, etc.
1. CHECK IN /CHECK OUT - Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM. Unless otherwise authorized by the Host.
2. PARTIES AND EVENTS - We do not allow parties, loud gatherings or events of any sort to be held in the property. We greatly appreciate your compliance on this as we do not want any issues with our neighbors or the city. Any reports or evidence of a party or organized event taking place will lead to an immediate vacation of the property, without reimbursement.
3. NOISE - Please keep the noise level down after 10 p.m., in accordance with the city bylaws and to not disturb the neighbors.
4. BROKEN ITEMS - Please inform the Host of any damages or broken items noticed upon your arrival. Furthermore, accidents happen and if something breaks during your stay, please inform us, in order for us to replace or repair it prior to a following Guest`s stay.
5. NEIGHBORS - Guests must notify the Host of any complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.
6. PETS - Please clean up after your pets, in the house, backyard and front yard.
7. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside the property, or outside while still in the premises of the property. Any evidence of smoking on the property premises will incur an additional cleaning fee of $1,000.
8. VISITORS - Guests are responsible for their visitors. Visitors must comply with the House Rules, and Guests will be held liable for any violation as if the violation was carried out by the Guests.
9. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING - Guests are to dispose of garbage and recycling into the allocated bins. Excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.
10. SECURITY - Guests must ensure that all doors, windows and gates are properly locked every time they leave the property, and at the end of their stay. Failure to maintain the security of the property (locking doors and windows) will result in a $200 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages/theft that occur during their stay.
11. INDOOR FIREPLACE - The indoor fireplace is for decorative use and should be handled with care. Do not move the glass screens on either side, and never place any items in or near the fireplace. Always ensure the fireplace is turned off when not in use, and never leave it unattended while lit. Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
12. BBQ GRILL - If you plan to use BBQ - please only do so if you are familiar with propane gas grills. If you need help or guidance please call management. This is to ensure your safety. The BBQ grill is in the backyard and is propane gas operated. We ask that Guests clean up the grill after each use, including pouring out the drip pan. Failure to do so may incur a grill cleaning fee of $100.
When finished using the grill, please ensure that the propane valve AND grill burners are shut off. Failure to do so may damage the property and Guests will be held liable for any damage that result.
13. FIRE PIT - Do not use the fire pit when a burn ban is in effect.
14. FIREWORKS - The use of fireworks anywhere on the property premises is strictly forbidden, subject to a a $500 fine and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.
15. PARKING - Parking is limited to 4 vehicles on the propertyâ2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. Free street parking is also available.
16. REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS - Every attempt is made to maintain the property in the best of condition. The Host does not guarantee that appropriate repair and or replacement will be performed during the Guests` stay. It is the Guests` responsibility to immediately notify the Host of any issues with the property during their stay so that repairs and or replacement may be promptly taken care of to the best of the Host`s ability.
The Host is not responsible for any occurrences to which we have no immediate control. These inconveniences include but are not limited to: weather conditions, power outages, road conditions or breakage of non-essential appliances (including, but not limited to: dishwasher, grill, pool heater, washer and dryer)
*Please inform us if any of the equipment in the house is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to make repairs as quickly as possible.
17. TOILET - Do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. This can cause plumbing issues and Guests will be held responsible for any related damages that occur.
