We absolutely loved this home! The living room furniture was so comfortable that we found ourselves lounging more than usual, especially with the rainy weather during our stay! The beds were incredibly comfortable too, which is always a huge plus! Our host was super responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We love returning to Carillon year after year, and this home did not disappoint!

The house was perfect for our family! Living space was so nice. We could all be in the room and not feel crowded! (8 adults, 3 kids and 2 infants!)

We loved our stay. The home was clean and nicely decorated. I truly appreciated the extra supplies that came with the property like garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, paper towels and toilet paper! We also really liked the fact that there were beach towels, beach toys, extra chairs and a beach wagon for use. These came in handy!The host was responsive and helpful! This is our 6th year in a row at Carillon and we love it! We look forward to many more visits!

Our week staying at Stella Maris was wonderful! It was a very short stroll to the beach walkover and our chairs and umbrellas were always set up waiting for us. The house was clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely pleasant and responsive, so the check in was a breeze. Two thumbs up for Stella Maris!

Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at Stella Maris over New Years! The house was well-stocked and clean and Julie was extremely responsive to a few issues that arose. Even though it’s just outside 30A, the Carillon Beach neighborhood is incredible with 3 private pools (one of which was heated), great open space and playground. We were happy to have a basketball court and heated pool! The private beach access is second to none, the house is a 3 minute walk to the closest dune walkover (beach access point). We had 5 adults, 4 kids, and a baby and the house had a nice amount of room for us to spread out. There’s one queen bedroom with en-suite bath on the main level off the living room, which is where my mom stayed. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. The primary suite with King was awesome, with a large bathroom and expansive private balcony overlooking the front. It was nice to open the door and let the refreshing January breezes blow in at night :) There’s also two king bedrooms which share a large Jack and Jill bath with double vanity and separated shower/toilet for additional privacy (also on the second level). Lastly, there’s a small bunk room on the second level which was great for kids (the top bunk was tall though!). The downside for the bunk room is that there’s no common bathroom, so the kids had to go through one of the bedrooms to go potty or bathe (the primary or the Jack and Jill) or go downstairs. On the third level are two small twin beds (no bath though).
The living room is a great size with two couches and 4 chairs, easily accommodating all 10 of us :)
Heated pool was awesome to have in January!
Front of the house. Don’t forget to park in the driveway or you’ll get a polite parking violation for parking in the golf cart area :)
The private beach access at Carillon is second to none. The water was in the 60s but we had fun and made sand castles anyway

We are a home grown Georgians who love life and family beach time! We have made so many of our own treasured memories along the shores of the beautiful beaches of 30A and want to share those memory-making opportunities with others in our cottage by the sea.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have been vacationing in Carillon as a family for the past 20 years. While we have tried many other locations here and there, we have never found anything that came close to the culture and experience of the Carillon community. From the holiday parades to strolls on the beach (with no crowds!) to weekly Concerts on the Green, we have made some of the most priceless memories we own here.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love the Nantucket charm, the brick paver driveway for easy parking, the huge family room that can hold all of us comfortably (a must for family game nights!), the very close proximity to the beach walkover, the spacious bedrooms, and the fully stocked kitchen (we also love to cook)!
