With amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, iron and ironing board, electric fireplace, outside fire pit, gas grill and WiFi, where guests can relax and unwind. The 2 bathrooms feature showers and hair dryers for added convenience. Enjoy Big Bear Creek for swimming, fishing, or even panning for gold when you stay at our place. Nearby attractions include Stanly County Livestock Arena, Morrow Mountain State Park, Lake Tillery, Reeds Gold Mine, Uwharrie National Forest, and several local wineries. House was perfect for our trip. Was a quick weekend getaway for a wedding in the area. The house was spacious, clean, cozy, and the outdoor area was a great spot to unwind at the end of the night. Extremely quiet and peaceful. (And the address doesn’t lie, we saw lots of frogs!) Would definitely stay here again if we come to visit in the future.

My two sisters and I loved our stay at this well-appointed, spacious, comfortable cabin. We were in the area for a family wedding, and the cabin suited us perfectly. We appreciated the comfortable beds, morning coffee on the deck, the wine and snacks that were left for us, and the overall feeling of being in a place where we could totally relax and enjoy our surroundings. 10/10 and we hope to return in future visits to the area!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very peaceful and well appointed. It was easy to get to the venue we were going to as well as anything else you’d need. This was such a cozy stay! We were in town visiting family and my toddlers, who could not be consoled the first half of the trip wanting to go home, loved it here! Finally they were able to go to sleep without crying and felt so comfortable. Every room was clean with the softest sheets and a ton of blankets to keep warm under. There's a little stream beside the property and a creek across the street with many other parks and amusements within a short drive. Loved the stay and can't wait to visit again!

This rental is absolutely wonderful! The property has stunning views of the surrounding landscape with plenty of privacy. At night, you also get a gorgeous view of the stars without the light pollution interfering. Inside is beautifully decorated and spotless. We had an amazing time and couldn't have been happier with the experience.

The spring weather has been amazing, and our children and grandchildren especially enjoyed playing in the creek.The property itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and well maintained. Amazing get away , my and my husband spent Valentine’s Day there and it was perfect ! We love to fish and be outside and it was more than enough to do here. We specifically enjoyed burning wood outside and sitting enjoying the scenery. 10/10

Our family truly enjoyed our time at the cabin—from relaxing together to playing in the creek and soaking up some much-needed family time.The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Through these programs, we hope to provide the building blocks for young people to lead confident, capable, and meaningful lives.
